Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration of the adhesive strength between a glass substrate and a hub by using a metallic surface for adhesion between the substrate and the hub and molding the metallic surface together with a magnet clamping metallic surface by means of the transparent resin to adhere the hub to the glass substrate with use of the ultraviolet ray hardening resin. CONSTITUTION:A metallic part 2-3 is molded with the transparent resin 2-2 like polycarbonate, etc., for production of a hub. The lower surface side of the part 2-3 is adhered to a glass substrate 5 via an ultraviolet ray hardening resin layer 2-4. Thus the upper surface of a disk is irradiated by the ultraviolet rays for adhesion secured between the hub and the substrate 5 via the resin 2-2 since the part 2-3 is molded with the resin 2-2 like polycarbonate, etc. As a result, the deterioration of the adhesive strength can be reduced even at a high temperature and high humidity.

When using a thermosetting adhesive, it is necessary to heat it to cure it. Without heating, the curing time will be longer. It is not preferable to heat the magneto-optical disk in air. Further, since a certain amount of curing time is required, workability is also poor.

However, if a metal hub whose entire surface is metal is used, it is not possible to irradiate ultraviolet rays from the top surface of the hub to cure the ultraviolet curable resin. Placing an ultraviolet irradiation source on the bottom surface of the hub to be bonded, that is, the bottom surface of the disk to which the hub is bonded, is difficult for boat fishing because the device for aligning the center of the hub with the center of the disk gets in the way. .

Even if it is possible to install an ultraviolet irradiation source on the underside of the hub, in the case of a metal hub, it is possible to glue the hub to one side of the disk (see Figure 3 et al.), which records only on one side. It is difficult to adhere hubs to both sides of a magneto-optical disk in which recording is performed on both sides of the disk as shown in FIG.

(3) Purpose of the Invention The purpose of the present invention is to minimize the deterioration of the adhesive strength between the glass substrate and the hub even under high temperature and high humidity conditions, to easily bond the two together in a short period of time, and to easily attach the two to a double-sided magneto-optical disk. An object of the present invention is to provide a magneto-optical disk equipped with a hub that can be adhered to the disk.

Conventional hubs have a magnetic clamping surface that is a metal surface, but there has never been a hub that has a metal surface that is bonded to a disk substrate. In addition, both metal surfaces are molded with transparent resin such as polycarbonate to provide strength as a hub, and by irradiating ultraviolet rays from the top of the disk, the hub and glass substrate can be bonded using ultraviolet curing resin. be.

(4-2) Example [Example 1] FIG. 2(a) is a diagram showing the first example of the present invention.
2 is a transparent polycarbonate part, and 2-3 is a metal part. The lower surface of the metal part 2-3 and the glass Wvi5 are bonded together by the ultraviolet curing resin layer 2-4. The ultraviolet rays during the bonding work pass through the transparent polycarbonate 2-2 from the top surface of the substrate and act on the ultraviolet curing resin layer for a relatively short period of time (several seconds to tens of seconds).
Adhesion is completed in seconds).

Since it is possible to bond by irradiating ultraviolet rays from the top of the board, it is possible to bond not only single-sided magneto-optical disks but also double-sided magneto-optical disks by attaching hubs on the front and back sides as shown in Figure 3 (a). It is easy to glue.
