動軸との相対変位を球面軸受と板材の変形によつ
て許容する構成となつている。ところで、前記球
面軸受部を塵埃から保護する必要があり、ダスト
シールが設けられるが、該ダストシールは軸受部
分の変位を許容するために軸方向の長さを長くし
たり、あるいは、その形状を袋状に形成してい

第1図の球面軸受を備えた可撓性軸継手の設置状
態を示す台車の平面図である。同図において、台
車は車輪の内側でジヤーナルベアリングを介して
台車枠1を支持するいわゆるインボード台車であ
るため、該台車枠1の幅が狭い。したがつて、該
台車枠1の内側に収納する駆動装置2あるいは電
動機3はコンパクトなものが要求され、さらに、
