Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost, light-weight, and easily processable material holding the atmosphere of an interior material using a natural stone by dispersing an aggregate of polyvinyl chloride pattern grain-form pieces shaped to have at least one sharp angle as being crushed in a matrix resin with high density. CONSTITUTION:A prepared polyvinyl chloride (PVC) paste composition 2 is loaded in a heat-resistant container 1 and heated at 80-120 deg.C by using such a heating apparatus as an oven or press; a plasticizer is absorbed in a vinyl chloride resin, whereby the composition 2 is made in a semigel state. The obtained PVC composition is a block-form material 3 as being taken out of the container 1. Then, crack 4 is applied to the block-form material 3. Thereafter, the semigel-form block vertically cracked is crushed to generate pattern grain-form pieces 5 each having a crushed section with at least one sharp angle in a natural stone form. The obtained pattern grain-form pieces 5 are loaded in a matrix resin 6, such as PVC paste or PVC dry blend powder, having a different color tone from the pieces 5 with high density and caused to thermally gelling at 120-180 deg.C.

PvC paste composition 2 prepared at the above ratio is put into heat-resistant container 1. The resin is heated at 80° C. to 120° C. using a heating device such as an oven or a press to absorb the plasticizer into the vinyl chloride resin and turn it into a semi-gel state. Obtained P
The vC sheath product is a block-like object 3 in a state peeking out from the container. As a method of generating zero cracks that give cracks 4 to this block-like object 3, a diluent is mixed in the gap between adjusting the paste-like vinyl chloride resin, and the diluent (for example, mineral spirit, n Hexane) is evaporated and then cooled, causing the resin to shrink and relatively large cracks to form. The crack pattern 4 can also be formed on the block-like object 3 by the method of mechanically applying strain to the block-like object.

The patterned coarse granular pieces 5 thus obtained are densely packed into a matrix resin G such as PvC paste or PvC dry blend powder having different colors, and heated to gel at 120 to 180°C. At this time, the ratio of coarse granular pieces 5 to matrix resin 6 was 1:0. 5 to 1=2 is preferred, more preferably 1:1 to 1:1. It is 5.

In this way, the pattern block 7 is obtained, and the coarse granular pieces can be used as a pattern material and have an appearance exactly like that of natural stone. This pattern block can be used as a decorative material by polishing only the surface and giving a decorative finish, or it can be sliced to an appropriate thickness and used as floor tiles or other interior materials, and sliced products and synthetic resins such as PvC and felt can be used as decorative materials. It can be used as floor tiles and other interior materials by laminating with known backing materials such as.

The gist of the decorative material of the present invention is a decorative material obtained by slicing a crushed polyvinyl chloride pattern m-grain aggregate having at least one sharp angle and dispersed in a matrix resin at a high density. FIGS. 2a and 2b are perspective views of the decorative material of the present invention. A decorative layer 9 having a thickness of 0.5 to 165 mm is obtained by slicing the heat-gelled pattern block 7 consisting of pattern coarse particles 5 and matrix 6.

The aggregate of the m-grain pieces 6 is dispersed at a high density of 0.7 to 2.7 g/cm' in the matrix tree NG, which is different from the m-grain pieces. The m-granular pieces have a shape obtained by crushing natural stone and have at least one sharp angle, and a large number of coarse granular pieces form a penetrating pattern in the decorative layer, and relatively small patterned granular pieces are formed. Since the matrix resin is dispersed throughout the entire thickness, the pattern will not disappear due to wear caused by walking.
