The front surface of the display in conventional large display devices is the first
It was configured as shown in the figure. In this figure, 1 is a part of the casing that constitutes the main body of the large display device;
2 is a front support plate disposed on the front of the housing; 3
numeral 4 is a through-hole formed in the front support plate for passing through an electric light tube, and 4 is an electric light tube, which is supported in an appropriate number by a support member (not shown), and this support member is attached to the front support plate 2. As a result, the tip of each electric tube passes through the through hole 3 and is fixed in a state protruding from the front support plate. 5 is a shader attached to the front side of the front support plate 2, and plate-like members 51, 5
2 and 53 are disposed in the vertical gaps between the respective electric tubes to block sunlight and to make the light emitted from the electric tubes 4 clearly visible from the front. This shader is formed by plastic molding or the like as a structure in which several stages are put together, as shown in a perspective view from the back in FIG.

In FIG. 2, 50 indicates a plurality of plate members 51, 5.
2 and 53, and 54 are through holes for the light tubes formed in the main body, which are formed in a matrix shape at predetermined intervals vertically and horizontally corresponding to the arrangement of the light tubes.

Reference numeral 55 denotes a recess for housing a gasket formed around each through hole, into which a gasket 6 having the same shape as this recess is mounted, as shown in FIG. The above-mentioned gasket 6 is provided with a vibration-proofing function so that the electric light tube 4 passing through the through-hole 54 of the shader will not come into contact with the surrounding wall and be destroyed due to vibration or other causes. Further, it is possible to provide waterproof and dustproof functions against rainwater, dust, etc. from the front of the shader. 6 in FIG. 1 shows the packing in the attached state.

The conventional device is constructed as described above, and one gasket for each light tube is attached to the recess 55 of the shader 5, but the light tubes used in large display devices are usually several. As there were 10,000,000 pieces and the same number of gaskets to attach to them, the process of attaching them was extremely troublesome and took a long time.

In FIG. 5, reference numeral 6 indicates a packing similar to the conventional one, but the difference is that a plurality of packings 61, 62, 63 are connected by a thin connecting member 7.

Such interconnected packings can be easily manufactured in a continuous form, including the connecting members, if the connecting members are made of the same material as each packing.

In addition, the shader to which such a packing is attached has a structure in which a notch 57 for accommodating the connecting member 7 or 8 is provided in the partition wall 56 between the recesses for storing the packing, as shown in FIG. do.

When storing the packing, for example, if we take the end packing 6 shown in Fig. 5,
Each gasket 61, 62, 6 connected to this
4, 65, etc. will be picked up at the same time, so place them in the recessed part of the shader shown in Fig. 4,
By slightly shifting the position of each gasket so that the gasket 6 and the recess 55 and the connecting members 7 and 8 correspond to the notch 57, a large number of gaskets can be stored in each recess at once. Note that when trying to attach the gaskets attached in this way to the lightning tubes, it is often difficult to attach them because some of the tubes are eccentric, but even in such cases, the connecting members 7 and 8 If it is made thin, each gasket can be displaced in accordance with the eccentricity of the light tube by deformation of the connecting member, so that it can be installed without any problem. Although the above description deals with the case where a large number of packings are connected, a sufficient effect can be expected if at least two or more packings are connected. In addition, although the above explanation deals with the case where the packing is attached to the shader, it is not limited to this, and the same effect can be obtained if the electric tube is inserted into the front support plate of the housing or in the vicinity thereof. You can expect it.

This idea is structured as above, so
The workability of attaching the gasket can be significantly improved, and it can also contribute to shortening the assembly time of large display devices.
