の費用と時間とを必要としている。 It is possible to construct a swimming pool by erecting a side wall for the swimming pool in the root cutting during foundation construction, and then installing a flexible waterproof metal sheet to retain water in the swimming pool. Usually done. It is also conventional practice to construct side walls of swimming pools by assembling a number of standardized structural members constructed from sheet metal or other suitable material, such as plastic; for example, in U.S. Pat. Already known from No. 3015191, No. 3059243 and No. 3094709. In the latter case, the upper and lower ends of the thin plates of each structural member are bent horizontally toward the outside of the side wall to form a horizontal flange in order to strengthen the steel of the side wall. When constructing a swimming pool side wall with a curved surface in the latter prefabricated swimming pool, the side wall structure portion of the thin plate of each structural member must be constructed into a curved surface with a desired curvature. In such cases, it is difficult to form horizontal flanges at the upper and lower ends of the thin plate, requiring a relatively large amount of cost and time to manufacture.

In this case, the edges of each plate are stepped outwards to form reinforcing flanges. The reinforcing flanges at the edges of adjacent plates are overlapped with each other so that they do not protrude too much into the inner surface of the storage tank,
Such a structure is also shown in US Pat. No. 2,123,035. It is also common practice to construct containers from a plurality of standardized units, in which mutually overlapping edges of mutually adjacent units are provided with recesses for receiving fastening members.

Therefore, it is possible to construct a side wall of a swimming pool having a substantially smooth inner surface without creating a portion that protrudes inwardly from the inner surface of the side wall, and is easy to assemble. To provide a prefabricated swimming pool that is easy to clean and has high strength.
