(Prior art) Conventionally, a trolley-type heat treatment furnace, as shown in FIG. In the cooling zone, gas is injected through cooling gas inlets arranged in the furnace length direction at predetermined intervals on both sides of the Matsufuru transported by a trolley or on both sides of the furnace walls between the Matsufuru. The material to be treated is indirectly cooled from high temperature to room temperature by spraying it onto Matsufuru.

Problems with the trolley-type heat treatment furnace cooling zone include quality deterioration such as thermal deformation due to overcooling of the material in the high temperature range, and insufficient processing capacity due to insufficient cooling in the low temperature range. This is due to the convection phenomenon that occurs within the cooling zone when the material to be treated is indirectly cooled by blowing gas from the cooling gas blowing ports 7 arranged in the length direction of the cooling zone. FIG. 6 diagrammatically shows the convection phenomenon. In the figure, ts 1 = cooling zone inlet temperature of the treated material, ts 2 = cooling zone outlet temperature of the treated material,
ta=Blow air temperature.

In Figure 6, if the temperature difference between the treated material and the blown gas in the high temperature range is Δtm 1 , and the temperature difference between the treated material and the blown gas in the low temperature range is Δtm 2 , then in the high temperature range Δtm 1
Since Δtm 2 is large, the amount of blown gas is small to perform the desired cooling, but in the low temperature range, Δtm 2 is small, so the desired cooling cannot be performed unless the amount of blown gas is increased.

Therefore, the material to be treated is cooled by spraying a small amount of gas in a high temperature range and a large amount of gas in a low temperature range. However, when the cooling zone is one chamber, a large amount of gas blown in the low temperature region is absorbed in the high temperature region, resulting in overcooling in the high temperature region and insufficient cooling in the low temperature region.

(Means for solving the problem) In the present invention, a hanging member 6 is installed from the upper part of the cooling zone furnace wall between the gas inlet ports 7 arranged in a row in the cooling zone of a trolley-type heat treatment furnace in the furnace length direction. The above-mentioned problem can be solved by vertically disposing a shielding curtain 5 made of a soft material on the member to partition the high temperature region and the low temperature region. That is, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a hanging member 6 made of shaped steel or pipe is installed on the upper part of the furnace wall between the rows of gas inlets 7, and a hanging member 6 of a width equivalent to the width of the furnace is installed on this member. The shielding curtain 5 is fixed with bolts, pins, etc. and hung vertically.

(Function) Cooling gas is blown onto the Matsufuru transported to the cooling zone by the trolley 3 from the gas blowing ports 7 arranged in the longitudinal direction of the furnace, so that the material 4 to be treated inside the Matsufuru 1 is indirectly cooled. At this time, the blown gas tries to flow to the high temperature area, but the shielding curtain 5 and the trolley 3 arranged between the rows of gas inlet ports 7 separate the gas from flowing. can.

When the specified cooling period is completed in the area partitioned by the shielding curtain 5, the trolley is operated and the Matsuful is transported to the area. 5 is pushed up and moved to the next area, and when the matsufuru advances to a predetermined position, since the shielding curtain 5 is only hung vertically, it separates from the matsufuru and returns to the predetermined position.

FIG. 1 shows the cart in a stopped state. In this state, the Matsufuru loaded on the cart is cooled, and when the prescribed cooling is completed, it is transferred to the next chamber by the cart. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the material to be treated is indirectly cooled by blowing cooling gas through the gas blowing ports 7 provided on both sides of the material that has been loaded onto a cart and transported to the cooling zone. A hanging member 6 formed of shaped steel or a pipe (illustrated as a pipe in the figure) is installed and fixed between the furnace length rows of the gas inlet 7 from the upper part of the furnace wall. The shielding curtain 5 is fixed to the member with bolts, pins, etc. and is hung vertically.

FIGS. 3 and 4 show a cooling zone in which shielding curtains 5 are hung vertically when gas blowing ports 7 are installed on both sides of the space between the moving matsuru. In the case of FIGS. 3 and 4, the hanging member 6 is installed on the upper furnace shell of Matsuful,
A gate-shaped shielding curtain is hung from the member. In this case, the gas inlets are partitioned by gate-shaped shielding curtains and matsufuru.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, by arranging a shielding curtain between the gas inlets, it is possible to prevent the convection phenomenon in which gas flows from a low temperature area to a high temperature area, and it is possible to prevent the phenomenon of convection in which gas flows from a low temperature area to a high temperature area. There is no deterioration in product quality or insufficient capacity due to insufficient cooling in low temperature ranges, and since the amount of gas can be adjusted in each temperature range, it is also possible to control the cooling rate, improving product quality and saving energy. The practical effects are extremely large.
