Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, a crimping, crimping and cutting device for vertical chain terminals consists of a chain terminal cutting section A and a terminal crimping section B. A front cutting blade 2 and a rear cutting blade 3 are fixed in the vertical direction on the side surface of the blade, and both sides of the cutting blade move vertically between the two cutting blades while slidingly contacting the cutting surfaces of the front cutting blade 2 and the rear cutting blade 3, respectively. The terminal crimping crimping section B is composed of a fixed anvil 5, a wire crimper (crimping tool) 6 and an insulated wire crimper 7 that move up and down above the fixed anvil 5. In addition,
Reference numeral 8 represents a terminal holding portion, and reference numeral 9 represents a ram for driving the cutting blade 1 and the crimpers 6 and 7.

Moreover, FIG. 3 shows the structure of the conventional cutting blade 15,
3A is a front view thereof, 3C is a rear view thereof, and 3B is a longitudinal sectional view taken along the a-a side of 3C. Thus, 3A faces the front cutting blade 2 and slides into contact with the cutting surface of the front cutting blade at the cutting surface 16 to cut the front cutting place 11' of the chain terminal joint 11, and 3C faces the rear cutting blade 3. The rear cutting portion 11'' of the chain terminal joint portion 11 is cut by slidingly contacting the cutting surface of the rear cutting blade at the cutting surface 17. Note that 18 is a cutting surface holding member molded integrally with the cutting blade. .

In this manner, the bottom surface 19 of the conventional cutting blade 15 was formed into a flat rectangle. Therefore, when the conventional cutting blade of FIG. 3 is used to cut the joint of the chain terminal shown in FIG. 2, the cut piece is cut into rectangular flat strips with a flat surface and having the material thickness of the terminal board. Since this cut piece is a flat piece with a flat surface, it tends to stick to various parts of the cutting blade due to oil adhesion, etc., and when the cutting blade moves up and down, the cut piece is shaken off from the cutting blade, and the terminal crimping and caulking device The situation was such that it was scattered and scattered in various parts of the building and its surrounding areas.

For this reason, if the terminal is crimped while the scattered cut pieces remain attached to the terminal crimping and crimping portion, the crimped and crimped terminal becomes deformed, causing product defects. In addition, if the cut pieces adhere to the terminal holding part, the function of the terminal holding part will deteriorate, and if the terminal is crimped while the terminal holding part is in a degraded condition, the crimped terminal will be bent or twisted incorrectly, and the terminal will not work properly. There were drawbacks such as impeding terminal crimping and tightening.

Next, to explain the operation of the present invention, first, in FIG. 1, the electric wire is fed to the crimping position on the terminal crimping crimping part anvil 5 and the ram 9 is lowered, and at the same time, the chain terminal is fed from the right side in the figure. The wire crimper 6 and the insulated wire crimper 7 start crimping the wire in a state in which the wire is pressed and fixed by the terminal holding part 8. Thereafter, the cutting blade 1 slides up and down between the front cutting blade 2 and the rear cutting blade 3, thereby cutting the joint portion 11 of the chain terminal and completing the crimping of the terminal.

When the joint portion of the chain terminal is cut using the cutting blade of the present invention, a cut piece that adheres to the cutting blade and separates from the cutting blade is obtained by the mechanism described in detail below. That is, in FIG. 5, which explains the working mechanism when using the cutting blade of the present invention, the front cutting blade 2 and the rear cutting blade 3 are positioned at a position where the upper end of the front cutting blade is lower than the upper end of the rear cutting blade. With the chain terminal 1
0 is placed on the upper end of the rear cutting blade 3, and when the cutting blade 20 of the present invention is brought into contact with and lowered to the chain terminal joint part 11, the front part of the chain terminal joint part 11 becomes the non-notched part 24 of the lower end of the cutting blade. The joint part deforms into a dogleg shape as it is pressed, and in the deformed state, both sides 21 and 22 of the cutting blade are cut by the cutting surface 25 of the front cutting blade 2 and the cutting surface of the rear cutting blade 3. Due to the respective simultaneous sliding contact with the surfaces 26, they are cut by a shearing action.

Therefore, the shape of the cut piece 27 cut by the cutting blade of the present invention is a thin piece with a dogleg-shaped cross section, and the plane is bent compared to the conventional cut piece.

As explained above, if the cutting blade of the present invention is used to cut the joint of a chain terminal, the shape of the cut piece will be a dogleg-shaped strip in cross section, and the contact with the attachment surface will be a line contact. The sticking will almost disappear. Therefore, it not only prevents contamination around the device due to scattered cut pieces, but also prevents deformation of the terminal due to adhesion of cut pieces, bending and twisting of the terminal due to a decrease in the terminal holding function, and furthermore, it also reduces the life of the terminal crimping blade. The effect on product quality improvement and maintenance management of the equipment is extremely large, such as extending the length of the product and reducing failures of equipment mechanisms other than those mentioned above due to scattering of cut pieces.
