【表】[Detailed description of the invention] This invention aims to improve not only chemical resistance, water resistance and heat resistance, but also axial dimensional stability and flexural modulus, as well as weight reduction. The present invention relates to a composite roller for transporting film. In general, film processing in a photographic film developing machine includes the steps of developing, fixing, washing, and drying, and during these steps, the film must be conveyed with appropriate wettability to protect the film. Since it is required to have excellent chemical resistance and heat resistance against various processing liquids, paper-based thermosetting resin laminated tubes have been used as the main material for film transport rollers that meet these requirements. . However, if this type of laminated pipe is used for a long period of time in treatment liquid or water, it will stretch in the length direction, causing mechanical problems. The surface pressure of the cutting tool during outer diameter precision machining can easily cause axis run-out, making the surface of the laminated tube rough or curved in the length direction, which can actually reduce machining accuracy. become. for that,
Countermeasures have been taken to combine steel pipes or steel bars on the inner surface of laminated pipes, but the increased weight of the rollers due to the use of steel pipes or steel bars means that it is necessary to incorporate especially wide film equipment or a large number of rollers. In equipment, etc., this is an extremely serious defect in handling the equipment. This invention was devised in view of the current situation, and includes a film transport system for a photographic film developing machine characterized by composite lamination of carbon fibers between the laminated layers of paper-based thermosetting resin laminated tubes. The details thereof will be described below with reference to drawings showing examples. Paper-based thermosetting resin laminate tube 1 in this invention
The paper base material and thermosetting resin are not particularly limited as long as they are of commonly used materials. For example, the paper base material may be linter, kraft paper, or a mixture of both, and the thermosetting resin may be paper made of linter, kraft, or a mixture of both. Examples include phenol resin, epoxy resin, polyester resin, and melamine resin. The method for manufacturing laminated tubes using these materials can also be done by using conventional methods, and in manufacturing the composite material roller of this invention,
Carbon fibers 2 prepregned with thermosetting resin are laminated between the laminated layers of the paper-based thermosetting resin laminated tube 1 and cured, and a resin molded product 3 is attached to the end of the resulting tube.
By inserting and fixing the shaft 4, the desired result can be obtained. In addition, the carbon fibers are PAN, pitch, and rayon type carbon fibers, and the fiber strength is tensile strength.
It is desirable that the carbon fibers have a tensile modulus of 200 Kg/mm 2 or more and a tensile modulus of 2×10 4 Kg/mm 2 , and the carbon fibers may be arranged in an arrangement of 50 to 100% in the axial direction of the roller. The composite roller developed by this invention has small dimensional changes in the axial direction during use, a high bending modulus in the axial direction, which eliminates problems in processing, and is much lighter than steel composite rollers. Since it shows remarkable effects, it can be said that the significance of this invention is extremely large. Now, in contrast to the carbon fiber two-layer composite roller (inner diameter 14 mm, outer diameter 21 mm, length 805 mm) based on this idea, we have developed a paper-based phenolic resin laminated tube roller (same dimensions as above) and a SUS-304 composite roller (inner diameter 16mm, outer diameter 21
Insert a roller with an inner diameter of 14 mm, an outer diameter of 16 mm, and a length of 805 mm into the inside of a laminated tube of 805 mm in length and epoxy resin prepreg glass woven fabric two-layer composite roller (with the same dimensions). , 70
[Table] The dimensional change rate in the length direction (ratio when the product according to this invention is set as 100), axial bending elastic modulus (same as above), and weight ratio (same as above) after being immersed in water for one day.
