FIG. 2 shows a metal sound-absorbing screen 2 for office automation equipment according to the present invention. The metal sound-absorbing screen 2 consists of a metal top plate 3, back plate 4, frame 5, legs 6, cap 7, corner pillars 17, and glass wool material 8 as a filler. The top plate 3 is provided with panting 9, and the total panting 9 for the entire area of the top plate 3 is

No punching 9 was applied to the plate. The end parts of a front plate 3 and a back plate 4 are joined together without a gap to form a panel body 10.
A sound absorbing board 11 is made by filling the inside of a panel body 10 with glass wool material 8 and laying cheesecloth 14 on the surface that contacts the top plate 3.

The assembly of the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 4. The lower end portion 13 of the sound absorbing plate 11 is supported by the lower portion of the rectangular frame 5 assembled on the legs 6. In this figure and FIG. 5, two sound absorbing plates 11 are used facing each other, and an air layer 14 is formed with a space between the back plates 4, 4, but one suction tube plate 1
In this case, another back plate 4 is installed next to the air layer portion 14. The sound absorbing plate 11 and other back plate 4 are connected to the upper part of the frame 5 (numeral 15 in the upper part).

The metal sound absorbing screen 2 manufactured by this manufacturing method may be used alone or connected in one direction. FIG. 5 shows an example in which the metal sound-absorbing screens 2, 2 are deployed in two directions via the corner pillars 17, and even in the case of three-way deployment, the metal sound-absorbing screens 2, 2 are deployed with the corner pillars 17 on three sides, respectively. This can be easily done by connecting 2 and 2.

For example, from the direction of the arrow in Figure 4, OA
If the sound (sound) of the equipment 18 is directed towards the sound absorbing plate 11, the sound will directly pass through the cheesecloth 12 (which acts as a stopper for the glass wool material 8) in the pantings 9, 9... It is absorbed by the glass wool material 8. The sound hitting the metal of the top plate 3 causes the metal top plate to vibrate, except for the reflected sound, which is also absorbed by the glass wool material 8. The sound passing through the glass wool material 8 causes the metal plate of the back plate 4 to vibrate, but it has already become extremely small, and most of it is diffused and attenuated in the air layer 14. According to the metal sound-absorbing screen 2 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, two sound-absorbing plates 11 are used facing each other, and OA equipment 18, 1 is used in both parts.
Even if 8 is used, there will be no problem with working noise.

As is clear from this diagram, the sound absorption coefficient of both No. 1 and No. 2 produced by the conventional manufacturing method is less than 0.1 in the center frequency range of 250 to 2000 Hz centered around 500 Hz. In contrast, No. 3 according to the present invention has a low value of about 0.4 in the same area.
It shows an excellent sound absorption coefficient of 0.7.

Today, office automation equipment 18 is becoming more and more popular, but there is still a strong tendency for office equipment to be manufactured using conventional methods. Like the sound absorbing screen 1 mentioned above. There is also a tendency for many new sound generating devices to be added. The metal sound-absorbing screen 2 according to the present invention is therefore not only used as a sound-absorbing screen for booth partitions related to OA equipment 18, but is also expected to be used as a sound-absorbing partition when other sound generating equipment is used.
