In the case of Publication No. 59-221213, a heat welding means is simply formed between the open free end of the bundling arm that comes into contact with the bundling arm in a straddling state and the bundling stand side, and the heat welding means is energized at the time of bundling to produce vegetable bundles. As the binding tape is welded and the binding arm is moved back to its original position immediately after the energization time has elapsed, the binding tape is released before the welded part of the binding tape has sufficiently cooled and solidified, and the binding tape is released and the vegetable bundles are There was a problem in that the welded portion of the binding tape was likely to peel off due to the repulsive force of the tape or other external forces.

Since the welding and cutting of the binding tape wrapped around the vegetable bundles are done in the same place, excessive force is applied to the welded part of the binding tape, making it easy for the welded part to peel off even when tied together. However, there was a problem that the binding work could not be done smoothly.

である。 1 and 2 are side views showing one embodiment of the binding machine of the present invention. 1 and 2, a fixing block 2 is provided near the front of the base 1, a welding section 3 is provided on the fixing block 2, and this welding section 3 has a binding tape (described later) on the front side. Drive roll pair 4, 5 that clamps the tip of 27
is mounted on the shaft. It is preferable that the tape guides 6 and 7 are provided so as to be in contact with the pair of drive rolls 4 and 5, so that the binding tape 27, which will be described later, will not be wrapped around the pair of drive rolls 4 and 5. The roll surfaces of the pair of driving rolls 4 and 5 may be simply smooth, but the surface of one roll may be provided with a number of circumferential grooves lined up, and the other roll may have circumferential grooves for guiding the binding tape. If one piece is provided, the binding tape 27 can be clamped straight at almost right angles to the axes of the pair of drive rolls 4 and 5 without meandering, and displacement of the thermally welded portion of the binding tape 27, which will be described later, is less likely to occur, which is preferable. Further, a binding table 8 is installed on the rear side of the welding work section 3. This binding table 8 is integrally provided with a switch 9 on one side, mounting portions are provided on both front and rear ends, and support for installing the binding table 8 on the base 1 at the rear position of the binding table 8. A column 10 is erected, and one attachment part of the binding table 8 is detachably attached to the support column 10. Further, by selectively attaching one of the attachment parts of the binding table 8 to the support column 10, the switch 9 is positioned in front of or on the other side of the binding table 8 in FIG. This switch 9 is for starting a drive means for a binding arm 11, which will be described later, and specifically, for starting a forward/reverse drive motor 13.

It is pivotably mounted by a support shaft 12, and is freely rotatable up and down about a support shaft 12. In the case of FIGS. 1 and 2, the binding arm 11 is driven by a forward/reverse drive motor 1 mounted on the base 1.
3 is transmitted to the support shaft 12 via the link mechanism 14, and the binding arm 11 is rotated. Therefore, the binding arm 11 is rotated by the activation of the motor 13, and during binding, it is rotated downward and attaches the second bundled object (A) placed on the binding table 8.
Straddle it as shown in the picture. Note that the binding arm 11 may be rotatably connected to the motor 13 via a gear instead of the link mechanism 14.

In the case of FIGS. 1 and 2, a guide roll 30 is also pivotally supported on the binding arm 11. Binding arm 11
Further, the back position is a loading part for the binding tape 27, that is, a binding tape feeding part 31, and a wound bundle 32 of the binding tape 27 is loaded into this part 31. This winding bundle 32 is inserted into and supported by a rotation center shaft 35 whose both ends are supported by a pedestal 33 and a support rod 34.
The support rod 34 is movable to raise and lower the winding bundle 32.
is detachable from one end of the rotation center shaft 35. In the case of FIG. 1, the lower end of the support rod 34 is attached to the side surface of the base 1 via a hinge, and a support rod presser 36 is further pivotally attached to the side surface of the base 1 so as to be rotatable along the side surface. , a receiver 37 is attached between the support rod 34 and the support rod presser 36. The support rod 34 can be raised and lowered by rotating in a direction substantially perpendicular to the side surface of the base 1, and the rotation center axis 35
When the support rod 34 is in the upright state, the support rod presser 36 is received by the receiver 37 so as to press the lower end of the support rod 34 against the side surface of the base 1. Further, when replacing the winding bundle 32, the support bar presser 36 is rotated in a direction in which it is removed from the receiver 37, the support bar 34 is rotated downward, and the end of the rotation center shaft 35 is opened. This is preferable because the length of one roll of tape is increased, the number of tape replacements is reduced, and workability is improved. In the case of this traverse winding, a plurality of guide rolls 29, 30
It is preferable to provide the guide rolls 29, 30 with a substantially drum-shaped shape, since twisting of the binding tape 27 and displacement from the guide rolls 29, 30 can be prevented and the binding tape 27 can be smoothly fed out. The binding tape 27 is made of thermoplastic resin, and is a laminated tape in which two layers of resins having different melting points are laminated, and is wound so that the side with a lower melting point is in contact with the bundle during binding. Further, the dimensions of the binding tape 27 are preferably in the range of 5 to 20 m/m in width and 0.05 to 0.3 m/m in thickness, but are not particularly limited to these ranges.

2 and 44 are designed to follow and rotate. At this time, on the driven link 42 side, rotational force is input to the drive roll 4 via the ratchet mechanism 41 only when the connecting rod 46 is pushed in the direction of the broken line arrow in FIG. 3 (that is, in the backward movement direction of the binding arm). It constitutes a so-called means for feeding a predetermined amount of binding tape. This rotating direction is the direction in which the drive roll pair 4, 5 pulls out the clamping tip 27' of the binding tape 27, and therefore the rolls 4 and 5 are assumed to be interlocked with gears, although not shown. Furthermore, on the driven link 44 side, the connecting rod 47
is pulled in the direction of the solid line arrow in FIG. 3 (that is, the binding direction of the binding arm), the rotation center shaft 35 and the winding bundle 32 are rotated via the ratchet mechanism 43 to extend the binding tape 27 to the required length on the binding arm 11 side. It is configured to be carried out.

Keep at temperature. Of course, a temperature sensor is used to adjust the temperature of the heater 22 so that it does not rise excessively.
Next, as shown in FIG. 1, the binding tape 27 is pulled out from the winding bundle 32 and once wound around the guide rolls 29 and 30, the tip 27' of the binding arm 11 is driven as shown by the chain line through the free end 15 of the binding arm 11. It is clamped between roll pairs 4 and 5. At this time, the binding tape 2
7 is set so that the resin layer with a low melting point faces outward. Then, the bundle (A) is passed between the binding arm 11 and the binding table 8, and is pressed against the resin layer with a melting point lower than that of the binding tape 27, and while the tape 27 is further pulled out, the tape 27 and the bundle (A) are Place it on the binding table 8. When the switch 9 on the side of the binding table 8 is turned on, the drive motor 13 is driven to rotate in the normal direction, and its output is input to the support shaft 12 via the link mechanism 14, thereby rotating the binding arm 11 downward. 2 is inputted with a rotational force in the direction opposite to the tape feeding direction, that is, in the tape rewinding direction, so that the binding tape 27 is wound around the bundle (A) without loosening due to this unwinding. In addition, as shown in FIG. 4, at the bottom dead center of the rotation, there is a
7 and the heater rod 20, and between the tape guide/presser 18 and the partition plate 21, the binding tape 27 is double sandwiched so that the resin layers with low melting points face each other. Further, at the bottom dead center of the rotation, the switch 39, which is the first detection means, is turned on, the drive motor 13 is stopped, and the state shown in FIG. 4 is maintained, and the heater 22 of the heater rod 16 is stopped from being energized. The timer 49 and the heater 24 of the heater rod 20 are energized in parallel, and the heater 24 is heated to a temperature that can melt the high melting point resin layer of the binding tape 27.
The double portions 50 of 7 are thermally welded and integrated, and the used binding tape portion 27'' wound around the bundle (A) is closed in an annular shape.

3 is reversed, the heater 22 starts to be energized, and the heater 24 is stopped. Therefore, the binding arm 11 starts to move backward, but the binding tape 2
In the double portion 50 of 9, the inner resin layer with a low melting point is thermally welded to each other by the heat of the heater 22 in the portion clamped between the heater rod 16 and the seat plate 19, and the temperature of the heater 22 is lowered. Along with this, the heat-welded portion is cooled and solidified. Further, the entire binding tape 27 is thermally cut by the heat of the heater 24, which is higher in temperature than the heater 22, at the portion clamped between the crimp rod 17 and the heater rod 20. The binding tape 27 is fused and cut. By cutting the welded portion, the used binding tape portion 27'' is separated from the unused binding tape 27, and the tape tip 27' is connected to this unused binding tape 27. The return force of arm 11 is linked to link 47 → driven link 4
2->Input is input to the drive roll pair 4, 5 through the ratchet mechanism 41, these rotate, and the tape tip 2
7' is moved forward by a predetermined length, the binding arm 11 is released upward, and the binding table 8 is opened, so that the bound article (A) can be taken out. In addition, in this state, the tape tip 27' is integrally connected to the unused binding tape 27 as described above.
This connection part is connected to the drive roll pair 4, 5 as shown in FIG.
The tape leading end 27' is smoothly advanced by the tape guides 6 and 7 without being wound around the pair of drive rolls 4 and 5 until it passes through the binding tape 2.
7 has returned to the state shown by the chain line in FIG. 1, and by carrying the bundled object (A) onto the binding table 8 again, the binding work can be continued. Then, as the binding arm 11 moves back, the switch 40, which is the second detection means, is turned on, and the drive motor 13 is stopped.
One binding operation is completed.

Since the thermal welding means and the thermal cutting means heated to a high temperature by the thermal welding means are arranged side by side in order from the side, when binding using a binding tape made of two layers of resin with different melting points laminated, the melting point will be lower. Using heat welding means, weld the used binding tape wound around the bundle so that it is in contact with the lower side of the bundle, and separate this used binding tape from the unused binding tape hung on the binding arm, and separate the unused binding tape from the unused binding tape hung on the binding arm. By separately welding and cutting the binding tape being used and the tip of the binding tape clamped to the drive roll pair using a high-temperature thermal cutting means, welding can be performed reliably and the welded part will not be removed by the binding machine. There is no need for cutting means such as a cutter, and the work is safe.

The binding work can be carried out smoothly without the welded parts coming off immediately after taking out the bundled items as in the past.
