In other words, conventional sealed case 1 with waterproof connector
consists of a housing member 2 made of synthetic resin or the like and having an opening on one surface, and the inside of the housing member 2 is a storage section 3 for storing electronic components to be described later. A lid 4 made of a synthetic resin similar to that of the housing member is disposed at the opening of the housing member 2, with adhesive 5 being filled in the joints around the lid 4, to airtightly close the storage portion 3. do. A circuit board 6 on which electronic components such as resistors and ICs are mounted is arranged and fixed in the storage section 3.

A cylindrical connector portion 7 is integrally formed on the bottom outer surface of the housing member 2 and protrudes from the bottom outer surface of the housing member 2, and a connector is connected to the bottom outer surface of the housing member 2 in order to transmit input/output signals of the electric circuit to an external device. A terminal 8 protruding into the interior is arranged. The terminal 8 and the circuit board 6 are connected within the housing portion 3 of the housing member 2 by soldering or the like. The connector portion 7 and the terminal 8 constitute a connector for fitting with an external connector. Further, since the terminal 8 is integrally molded at the same time as the housing member 2 is molded, it is completely embedded and its waterproof property is maintained.
Note that a ventilation hole 9 is formed in the lid 4.

In a conventional sealed case with a waterproof connector configured in this way, if the case containing the circuit board is installed, for example, in the engine compartment of a car, water vapor in the atmosphere or water droplets scattered and attached while the car is running, etc. There was a case where it got inside the case. The water vapor and water droplets that entered the case interacted with the current flowing through the electronic circuits, causing electrolytic corrosion and causing disconnections, short circuits, and current leaks.

In addition, since there are large temperature changes in the engine compartment,
This promotes corrosion of the conductor wires and easily causes wire breakage and short circuits. As a result, this electronic circuit sometimes malfunctioned. Therefore, there was a need for a waterproof structure that would prevent the infiltration of water vapor and water.

In the conventional example shown in FIG. 1, in order to obtain this waterproof structure, an adhesive 5 is used at the joint between the housing member 2 and the lid 4 to make this part waterproof. This adhesive 5 is often made of epoxy based adhesive in consideration of adhesiveness and environmental resistance. In this case, in order to increase production efficiency during production, etc., the adhesive 5 is heated to around 100° C. to rapidly accelerate the curing reaction, thereby shortening the time.

However, in this heating method, the atmosphere inside the housing is heated at the same time, so the atmosphere inside the housing expands and breaks through the unsolidified adhesive 5 filled between the housing member 2 and the lid 4. Ventilation takes place. Such ventilation occurs due to a temperature difference between the inside and outside of the case, and therefore continues until the inside of the case becomes completely at the same temperature as the outside air. Therefore, as the heating time passes, the ventilation gradually weakens.
Since the curing of the adhesive 5 is completed first during ventilation in the housing portion, there is a drawback that the above-mentioned ventilation traces remain after the adhesive 5 hardens, resulting in an incomplete waterproof structure.

Therefore, in order to solve this problem, in the conventional case, a ventilation hole 9 as shown in FIG. 2a is formed in the lid 4 in advance. By forming such a ventilation hole 9, it becomes easy to vent the atmosphere inside the housing part 3 due to heating of the case, so that the above-mentioned ventilation through the adhesive 5 is no longer performed. Therefore, the housing member 2 and the lid 4 are completely bonded together. After the adhesive 5 hardens, the vent hole 9 is welded and sealed using a soldering iron or the like as shown in FIG. 2b, completing a complete waterproof structure.

However, in such conventionally structured sealed cases with waterproof connectors, the welding and sealing condition of the ventilation hole 9 is greatly affected by the working method and working conditions, so it is difficult to finish it in a constant condition, and the sealing condition may be incomplete. There was a problem that something could easily occur.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to focus on the above-mentioned problems in the conventional sealed case with a waterproof connector, and to provide a sealed case with a connector that easily has a waterproof structure without using techniques such as welding.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. A sealed case 10 with a waterproof connector according to an embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. , an adhesive 15, a circuit board 16, a connector portion 17, and a terminal 18. However, the lid 14 in this embodiment is not provided with the above-mentioned ventilation holes.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the housing member 12
A ventilation hole 19 is provided in the connector portion 17 of the connector portion 17 , and the ventilation hole penetrates to the storage portion 13 . Further, this connector portion 17 has a waterproof structure similar to the conventional case.

In the case of the above-described embodiment constructed in this manner, the housing member 12 and the lid 14 are bonded together with an adhesive 15 in the same manner as in the conventional case. At this time, the adhesive 15 is heated to accelerate hardening, but in the present invention, the storage portion 13 of the housing member 12 and the outside are in communication with each other through the ventilation hole 19 formed in the housing member 12 within the connector portion 17. Therefore, sufficient ventilation is achieved when heating is performed. Therefore, the adhesive 15 does not break through due to ventilation during curing, which has been a problem in the past. Therefore, the housing member 1
The joint between 2 and the lid 14 is completely sealed.

By the way, since the ventilation hole 19 provided in the housing member 12 in the connector part 17 uses a waterproof structure in the connector part 17, the connector part 17 is waterproof when it is fitted with a mating connector. Ru. Therefore, this ventilation hole 19
The waterproof structure of the part can be achieved without further sealing. In other words, if the connector is installed in a place where water vapor or water droplets are frequently scattered, such as in the engine compartment of a car, the waterproof connector ensures that the connector mating part is waterproof, so water droplets will not get inside the connector. There is no problem even if the storage section 13 and the connector section 17 are in communication with each other through the ventilation hole 19. Therefore, unlike conventional cases, the step of sealing the ventilation holes is also omitted, making it possible to easily obtain a case with a waterproof structure.

As described above, the sealed case with a waterproof connector of the present invention includes a housing member having a housing portion and a lid that is sealed to the housing member with an adhesive, and either the housing member or the lid By providing a connector part with a waterproof structure and providing a ventilation hole inside this connector part that penetrates to the storage part, the conventional process of sealing the ventilation hole can be omitted, and the product also has a waterproof structure with stable quality. A great effect is obtained in that a sealed case with a waterproof connector can be obtained.
