Retaining walls, which are constructed by assembling a large number of longitudinal blocks and girder blocks into a cross-shaped structure and filling the inside with filler, have been used for a long time due to their excellent stability against earthquakes and earth pressure, as well as water permeability, but in recent years, retaining walls have become most commonly used. Figures 7 to 9 show what is being done.

The retaining wall shown in FIG. 7 is constructed by assembling longitudinal blocks 20 and girder blocks 22 into a cross-shaped structure. As shown in FIG. 8, the longitudinal block 20 is provided with an engaging part for engaging with the girder block 22 at a position approximately 1/4 of the way from both ends, and the engaging part is connected to the upper and lower grooves 2.
1. As shown in FIG. 9, the girder block 22 has longitudinal blocks 2 near both ends.
0, an engaging portion consisting of upper and lower grooves 23 is provided.

During construction, this retaining wall does not require any bolts or cast-in-place concrete at the engagement part between the longitudinal block and the girder block, which is extremely labor-saving, and also allows the vertical distance a between the longitudinal blocks to be reduced. Therefore, there is an advantage that not only chestnut stone but also general cut gravel can be used as a filler material. However, on the other hand, the engagement portion of the girder block 22 has grooves 23 formed on the top and bottom, so its strength, especially against vertical loads, is reduced, and in order to obtain sufficient strength, the entire cross section of the girder block must be considerably enlarged. There is a need. Further, as shown in FIG. 7, a gap 24 is formed at the engagement portion between the longitudinal block 20 and the girder block 22, resulting in an unsightly problem.

That is, in the present invention, by mutually engaging the engaging portions formed at positions approximately 1/4 from both ends of the longitudinal block of length l and the engaging portions formed near both ends of the girder block, a large number of these In a retaining wall formed by assembling blocks in the shape of a grid and filling the inside with filler, the engaging portion of the girder block is formed by cutting out four corners in the cross section to form a convex strip on the top and bottom,
The engaging portion of the longitudinal block is a retaining wall characterized by forming grooves on the upper and lower surfaces into which the protrusions fit.

Longitudinal block 1 is made of reinforced concrete;
As shown in the figure, it is a plate-shaped body having a length of 1 and a vertically elongated cross section, and grooves 2 are formed as engaging portions on the upper and lower surfaces at positions approximately 1/4 from both ends thereof. The reason why the position of the engaging part is set approximately 4/4 from both ends is because the pitch of the girder block is constant (2/2), and the joint 9 of the longitudinal block 1 is fixed as shown in Fig. 1. This is to arrange them in a staggered manner.

The girder block 3 is also made of reinforced concrete, and as shown in FIG. 4, it is a rod-shaped body having a vertically long rectangular cross section, and engaging portions are provided at positions near both ends of the girder block 3. As shown in FIG. 4 or FIG. 5, this engaging portion is formed by cutting out four corners in a cross-sectional view to form notches 4, thereby forming a protrusion 5 on the upper and lower sides. It fits into the groove 2 of the block 1. This configuration of the engaging portion of the girder block 3 is as follows:
Compared to the engagement portion of a conventional girder block as shown in FIG. 8, the notch area is smaller, and the reduction in strength especially against loads in the longitudinal direction can be significantly reduced, and as a result, the girder block can be made smaller. As shown in Fig. 6, the engaging portion of the girder block is an integrated notch in which the upper left and lower left, and the upper right and lower right notches are connected, respectively, among the four corner notches in the cross section of the girder block 10. There is no problem with section 11. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, etc., the engaging portions of the lowermost girder block 6 and the uppermost girder block 7 are as follows.
The formation of the protrusions on the lower or upper side may be omitted.

The retaining wall of the present invention has all the advantages of conventional products, such as earthquake resistance, water permeability, and work efficiency. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the retaining wall of the present invention reduces material costs by downsizing the girder blocks, and further improves work efficiency during construction. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1, there is no gap between the engaging portions of the longitudinal block and the girder block, so the design is excellent.
