Specifically, the present invention is a faucet designed to eliminate the sound generated at the valve part of the faucet due to flowing water. A valve is formed in such a manner that the counterbore formed to surround the valve seat on the downstream side of the valve and the side surface of the valve body form a decompression chamber whose outlet has a smaller area than the opening of the valve. The valve seat and the lower outer peripheral surface of the valve body corresponding to the valve seat are inclined in the shape of a truncated cone so as to fit into each other.

る。 In this device, a counterbore 3 formed to surround the valve seat 1 on the downstream side of the valve b and the side surface of the valve body 9 form a decompression chamber c whose outlet 11 has a small area due to the opening of the valve b. By doing so, the flowing water that has passed through the valve b is temporarily stored in the pressure reducing chamber c and exerts a back pressure on the valve b to reduce the flow rate of the flowing water flowing through the valve b. flows out from
Furthermore, by providing a plurality of concave grooves 9c in the upper and lower outer peripheral surfaces of the valve body 9 in the vertical direction, each of which extends around the entire circumference, a large resistance is provided to the flowing water to disturb it, further improving the depressurizing effect and slowing down the flow rate of the flowing water. This makes it difficult for cavitation phenomenon, which causes noise, to occur in the valve part b.

いという問題がある。<Problems to be solved by the invention> However, in such conventional faucets, the lower outer circumferential surfaces of the valve seat and the valve body corresponding to the valve seat are simply sloped into a truncated conical shape that fits into each other. Not only is the pressure reduction of the flowing water insufficient at the valve seating portion, that is, the inlet 12 of the valve, but also the pressure reduction of the flowing water at the portion facing the pressure reduction chamber that is continuous with this is insufficient, and the sound generated at the valve portion is completely suppressed. The problem is that it cannot be erased.

る。 Furthermore, if the valve seat and the lower outer peripheral surface of the valve body do not make surface contact with each other when the valve is closed, the flow of water cannot be completely blocked, so the machining accuracy of both slopes must be maintained above a certain level. Not only does the machining work take time, but if the valve is closed when foreign matter such as dirt gets between the two inclined surfaces, there is a problem in that the foreign matter gets caught and the two inclined surfaces cannot reliably come into contact with each other, resulting in water leakage.

This gradually lowers the flow rate of the flowing water.

Water near the inlet 12 passes between the stepped portion 9a formed on the lower outer peripheral surface of the valve body 9 and the valve seat 1, but at this time, the flowing water is resisted by the stepped portion and the flow is disturbed. Reduce the flow rate step by step.

Moreover, since there is no sudden change in the flow path a along the slope of the lower outer circumferential surface of the valve body 9 and the tapered surface 9b of the upper outer circumferential surface, the cavitation phenomenon can be prevented from occurring.

Then, the water in the pressure chamber 24 is discharged from the relief valve e, and the pressure balance between the pressure chamber 24 and the outlet 11 side of the decompression chamber c is broken, and the main valve body 25

The sound can be muted.

It goes without saying that a faucet may be used, and the means for attaching the valve body 9 can also be selected arbitrarily depending on the faucet.

に臨む部分の減圧を行うことができる。 The flowing water passes between the valve seat and the stepped portion of the valve body, which provides resistance to the flowing water and gradually reduces the flow rate of the flowing water passing through the portion facing the decompression chamber from the seating surface, so that the valve closes when the valve is closed. It is possible to reduce the pressure in the valve seating portion and the portion facing the pressure reduction chamber without making surface contact between the seat and the lower outer circumferential surface of the valve body.

This also makes it easier to process the valve seat and valve body, and even if foreign matter such as dirt gets between the valve seat and the seating surface of the valve body when the valve is closed, it will not be able to be removed between the steps of the stepped part. The water escapes into the recess formed in the valve and is securely closed, completely preventing leakage.
