Direct buried cables, such as metal corrugated pipe armored cables, are made by twisting the insulated wire cores with a jute interposed, wrapping a pressure tape and applying an inner sheath on top of it to form a core, forming a corrugated pipe on top of this, and then applying an outer sheath. It will be given.

In the production process of this metal corrugated pipe armored cable, antirust treatment is applied to the surface of the corrugated pipe. This is because if the exterior sheath that is extruded onto the corrugated pipe is made of vinyl chloride, a small amount of chlorine gas (corrosive gas) may be generated during the extrusion process and corrode the corrugated pipe.
This is intended to prevent corrugated pipes from corroding due to various environmental conditions after cable installation.

With this device, the application of the rust preventive agent itself is uneven, and the excess rust preventive agent is wiped off with a sponge, etc., so be sure to thoroughly remove the excess rust preventive agent applied to the troughs of the spiral tube. As a result, the amount of rust preventive agent consumed increases, which is not desirable in terms of product quality control.Furthermore, the life of the sponge is short, which affects the operating rate of the equipment.

In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a rust preventive coating chamber through which the long spiral pipe is inserted is connected to a rust preventive removal means along the traveling direction of the long spiral pipe, and the rust preventive coating is applied An annular supply pipe is arranged in the room around the advancing long spiral pipe, and a plurality of spray nozzles are provided from the annular supply pipe toward the long spiral pipe, and the rust preventive agent removing means is installed in the casing. The long helical tube passes through the central axis of the cylindrical body, which is passed through the cylindrical body in an airtight manner, and an air permeable contact is provided on the inner surface of the cylindrical body so that its tip can be slidably contacted with the long helical tube. A hole communicating with the contactor was formed, and a suction pipe connected to a suction machine was attached to the casing.

In the present invention configured as described above, a rust preventive agent is sprayed around a long spiral tube advancing from a spray nozzle and uniformly applied to the spiral tube, and then, in a rust preventive removal means, a rust preventive agent is applied to the long spiral tube. When the inside of the casing is sucked while running, the air on the surface of the spiral tube is sucked through the gap between the contacts, and the excess rust preventive agent is also removed. At this time, the contact responds to the surface irregularities of the spiral tube by its bending or elasticity.
