(Conventional Circumstances) A considerable amount of snow accumulates on the roofs of houses in areas with heavy snowfall, and there are many types of roof damage caused by the snow.

例えば第7図に示すものは「すがもれ」と呼ば

For example, what is shown in Figure 7 is a phenomenon called ``sugare'', which is particularly common on tin roofs.

This is because the snow that accumulates on the roof is melted by the roof heated by the hot air inside and flows to the eaves.
This is a phenomenon where the indoor heat does not reach the area near the eaves, so the snow freezes due to the outside temperature and later melts and accumulates on the roof. Due to the water pressure, it permeates through the cracks and small holes in the roof and into the roof boards. It will leak indoors.

In addition, when snow slides down from the eaves, water in the snow drips and forms icicles, which grow and become dangerous.

(Technical Problem) The above-mentioned phenomenon occurs when melted snow freezes near the eaves, and is caused by snow accumulated on the roof being melted by indoor heat.

(Means for solving the problem) The technical measures taken to solve the above-mentioned problem include attaching a heat insulating material to the entire back surface of the waterproof covering sheet and adding weight to the periphery of the sheet. It is installed.

(Function) The roof snow damage prevention sheet that covers the roof blocks heat from indoors with the heat insulating material on the back of the sheet to prevent it from being transmitted to the snow on the sheet, and also prevents heat from being transmitted to the snow on the sheet. This prevents the moisture contained in the snow from penetrating into gaps in the roof.

Further, the weight attached to the periphery of the sheet presses the periphery of the sheet against the roof surface to prevent wind from entering between the sheet and the roof surface.

(Effects) As described above, since the present invention has a heat insulating material attached to the back side of the waterproof covering sheet, it is possible to block the heat from indoors that is transmitted to the snow on the roof through the roof. This prevents the snow accumulated on the roof from melting due to indoor heat. As a result, it is possible to eliminate the phenomenon of leakage caused by melted snow, and it is also possible to reduce the occurrence of icicles caused by moisture contained in the snow on the roof.

Furthermore, since the covering sheet on the surface side of the sheet is waterproof, even when snow accumulated on the roof melts, it can prevent moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the roof.

Furthermore, since weights are attached to the periphery of the sheet of the present invention, the periphery of the sheet is always pressed against the roof surface and will not be rolled up or blown away even in strong winds.

This snow damage prevention sheet A is made by pasting a heat insulating material 2 made of a foamed polyethylene sheet with a thickness of about 4 mm on the entire back surface of a covering sheet 1 made by cutting a waterproof polyester fiber canvas sheet or the like into the above dimensions. Moreover, a weight 3 made by cutting a stainless steel round bar into a predetermined thickness is attached to the periphery of the covering sheet 1.

The weight 3 is wrapped in a strong cloth 4 folded in half, and the open side edge of the cloth is sewn to the periphery of the covering sheet 1 and the center of the top surface of the sheet 1, and is fixed in place along the short side of the sheet 1. The weights 3 are divided into four pieces and arranged side by side with an interval 6 between each weight 3 for passing a ridge 5 of a tin roof, which will be described later.

The above-mentioned snow damage prevention sheet A covers the entire surface from a position slightly below the roof ridge to the eaves, and several sheets are lined up horizontally with the long sides aligned with the slope of the roof. Spread it all over.

In order to fix the above snow damage prevention sheet A to a tin roof, pass the sheet A through the interval 6 between each weight 3 in the short side direction with the protrusion 5 which is the joint part of the galvanized iron plate. After that, the approximately U-shaped fixing metal fittings 7 are fitted onto the protrusions from above the snow damage prevention sheet A at appropriate intervals, and the snow damage prevention sheet A is held between the metal fittings 7 and the protrusions 5. In this state, it is fixed with stainless steel wood screws 8. (Fig. 4) In addition, as shown in Fig. 5, another fixing method is
After covering with the snow damage prevention sheet A, the protrusions 5 may be clamped from both sides by clamping plates 9.

Further, the seams between the long edges of adjacent snow damage prevention sheets A are overlapped with each other as shown in FIG. 6, thereby preventing water from entering through the seams.

As mentioned above, if the snow damage prevention sheet A is placed on a tin roof, even if snow accumulates on the roof, the heat transmitted from inside the room will be blocked by the sheet A, so that the snow on the snow damage prevention sheet A will be blocked. never melts.

Therefore, as mentioned above, this prevents a reduction in soot leakage caused by the melting of snow on the roof, and also reduces the amount of icicles that form under the eaves because the moisture contained in the snow is also reduced. Furthermore, even if a strong wind blows when there is no snow on the snow damage prevention sheet A, the snow damage prevention sheet A can be rolled over by the action of the weights 3 provided at the periphery and center of the snow damage prevention sheet A. Never get blown away.

Note that the size and outer circumferential shape of the snow damage prevention sheet A are changed depending on the size and shape of the galvanized iron roof.
