スドアに関し、特に、コーナピースを覆うコーナ

数のクリツプ５Ａ，５Ｂを一体成形し、同クリツ
プ５Ａ，５Ｂをコーナピース３の取付孔６Ａ，６
Ｂに係止している。しかしながら、このようなコ
ーナピースカバー４の取付構造では、実際上、コ
ーナピースカバー４をコーナピース３と完全に一
致するように製作することが困難なため、コーナ
ピース３とコーナピースカバー４との間にすき間
が形成され、コーナピースカバー４の取付状態が
不安定になり、所謂“ガタツキ”が生じてユーザ
に不安感を与えるばかりでなく、風雨対策の面か
らも問題を引起こす。即ちコーナピースカバー４
は、外観も勿論であるが、ウエストライン下部４
ａでは第１図示のドアウエザストリツプ７に結合
され、ウエストライン上部４ｂでは、第２図示の
フロントピラー８の車体開口部のボデイサイド・
ウエザストリツプ９に弾接すると共にコーナピー
ス３内のコーナピースガラスラン（図示せず）の
接触線とボデイサイド・ウエザストリツプ９の接
触線を連続させる機能をも有している。したがつ
て、コーナピースカバー４の取付状態に“ガタツ
キ”があると、ドアウエザストリツプ７、ボデイ
サイド・ウエザストリツプ９、コーナピースガラ
スランで形成されるシール線が不連続になり、走
行中の風圧等によつて雨風が車室内に侵入する恐

り、ドア開時の外観を改善できる。ウエストフラ
ンジ１０ａに沿つてドアの前方に延びる取付片４
ｃは、その先端寄りの部分に取付孔１１を有して
おり、同取付孔１１に一致するウエストフランジ
１０ａの固定孔１２を用いて取付片４ｃ及びウエ
ストモール１３がウエストフランジ１０ａにビス
