For this reason, when an earthquake with a magnitude of 4 occurs, there is usually no risk of damage to the building itself, but
Elevator ropes may get caught or become tangled in equipment in the hoistway, and the counterweight may even come off the rail that regulates the counterweight. It was dangerous to move the elevator without inspection, and it was necessary for an expert maintenance worker to inspect the inside of the elevator hoistway before the elevator could be restarted.

Particularly in countries like Japan, where earthquakes with a seismic intensity of around 4 occur frequently, inspections need to be carried out each time, which requires an enormous amount of time and effort.

Although such devices can detect failures in specific parts, it is difficult to detect safety checks along the entire elevator operating route in the event of an earthquake with a seismic intensity of about 4 as described above. Ta.

By checking quickly,
It is an object of the present invention to provide an elevator monitoring device that can determine the presence or absence of an abnormality in an elevator and shorten the time required to restart operation of the elevator.

Reference numeral 1 indicates a car that goes up and down in a hoistway, and cameras 2 and 3 are provided above and below the car to photograph the situation of the hoistway. ing. The car 1 is connected to a counterweight 4 via a rope 5 and to a governor 6 in a hoistway machine room via a governor rope 7. A pulse detector 8 is attached to the governor 6 to detect pulses obtained by rotation of the governor sheave, etc. when the car 1 moves up and down, and this pulse detector 8 is further connected to a control panel 9. The control panel 9 controls the pulse detector 8.
The position of the car 1, for example, which floor the car 1 is currently located on can be detected by receiving the detection signal from the car 1. This control panel 9 is connected to the cameras 2 and 3 of the car 1 via a cable 10,
and a video comparison device 11 installed in the monitoring room.
It is connected to the. This video comparison device 11 is 2
It consists of a pair of video cameras with zoom lenses and one color monitor, and one video camera is connected to camera 2 of car 1 based on information from control panel 9.
3, and the other video camera captures an image of the hoistway situation data 12 recorded in advance corresponding to the above-mentioned car positions in the hoistway. Two images showing the situation of the hoistway are displayed alternately on the monitor, and the two images can be compared using an overlay effect.

できる。 In the device having the above configuration, when a weak earthquake occurs, the car 1 is stopped, the upper and lower lights (not shown) of the car 1 are turned on, and the situation of the hoistway is monitored by the cameras 2 and 3 of the car 1. At the same time, the pulse detector 8 displays the position of the car 1 on the comparison device 11 via the control panel 9. And the watcher is this basket 1
It is possible to determine which floor of the hoistway is currently being photographed, and based on this, the condition of the hoistway taken in advance at the position closest to the car position is input to the comparison device 11 from the situation data 12, and the earthquake It compares the conditions of the hoistway before and after, and detects whether there is an abnormality in the condition of the hoistway. In this way, car 1 is gradually raised and lowered to determine whether or not there is an abnormality in the hoistway, and if no abnormality is found in the hoistway, the elevator is operated and the earthquake is quickly detected without requiring much manpower. Elevator operation can be resumed at a later time.
