Since it must be used directly, there are major safety issues. In addition, this method has a drying rate of 90
It is only possible to determine the condition up to ~95%, and it is necessary to set a delay time in some way until complete drying is achieved, which generally results in poor accuracy.

Due to these changes, the drying rate at the end of the process will vary and accuracy will deteriorate.

Accuracy is generally poor, and the large dispersion is particularly problematic when detecting the standard degree of dryness that is most often used.

1 is a drum for storing clothes to be dried; 2 is a drum 1
3 is a heater that heats the air flowing into the drum 1
4 is a motor for driving the drum 1 and the fan 3, and the drum 1 and the fan 3 are connected to a belt or the like. connected by a power transmission means. 5 is a condensed water detection device, and 6 is a temperature detection device, each of which is installed at an appropriate position in the exhaust path of the drum 1, and detects the presence or absence of condensed water and its temperature. The condensed water detection device 5 detects the presence or absence of condensed water on the exhaust path wall using a condensation sensor that has a characteristic that the resistance value is large when there is condensed water and small when there is no condensed water. Temperature detection device 6
detects the exhaust temperature of the drum 1 using a temperature dependent resistor with a negative temperature coefficient. Reference numeral 7 denotes a control unit, and 8 a setting unit. The degree of dryness desired by the user is input to the setting unit 8, and the control unit 7 receives the outputs of the condensed water detection device 5 and the temperature detection device 6, and determines this degree of dryness. As shown in FIG. 2a, the exhaust temperature of the drum 1 is constant during the constant rate drying period, but begins to rise near the end of the drying period when the decreasing rate drying period begins. This is when the first degree of dryness (drying rate of 90 to 95%, hereinafter referred to as iron drying) is reached, which is considered to be suitable for ironing. The control unit 7 determines that the constant rate drying period is reached when the exhaust temperature of the drum 1 detected by the temperature detection device 6 becomes stable, and furthermore, the slope dT/dt of this temperature is 3.
The time when the temperature becomes higher than ℃/min is determined to be the time when iron drying is reached.

At the end of drying, almost no steam is generated and the condensed water disappears. This point is when the second degree of dryness (drying rate of 100 to 102%, hereinafter referred to as standard dryness) is reached, which is considered to be a standard drying state, and is detected by the control unit 7.

できる。 In addition, the time from iron drying to standard drying (△t in Figure 2 b) is measured by the control unit 7, and the third drying degree (drying rate of 102 to 104%, hereinafter referred to as careful drying) is measured by the control unit 7. ) is used to determine the arrival time. That is, in this embodiment, as shown in the figure, a delay time is provided from the standard drying time by the same time as the time Δt from the iron drying time to the standard drying time, and the time after this delay time is defined as the time when careful drying is reached. In this embodiment, this delay time and △t are made to match, but depending on the setting degree of careful drying, the delay time may be changed to k·△t (k is a positive constant, for example
1.2) may also be used. In this case, the larger k is set, the higher the drying rate during careful drying can be.

After shifting to the cold air operation and lowering the temperature of the clothes to be dried by the cold air operation for 5 minutes, the energization to the motor 4 is also stopped and the operation is ended.

Therefore, compared to the standard method of detecting dryness based only on the drum exhaust temperature, almost all of its drawbacks can be covered. Further, this standard drying is considered to be the drying level most desired by users, and this method is considered to be a very effective method because it can detect this state with high accuracy.
