Background technology and its problems It is necessary to detect or measure rainfall intensity as accurately as possible from the viewpoint of flood prevention and ensuring traffic safety. Roads in mountainous areas in particular are in a state where extremely dangerous situations such as landslides are likely to occur due to rainfall, and for this reason, the intensity of rainfall is constantly monitored on roads with a high degree of risk. When the rainfall intensity reaches dangerous levels, roads are closed. The level of such dangerous rainfall intensity is generally set to an appropriate value for each road based on experience.

Incidentally, such detection or measurement of rainfall intensity is generally performed in an unattended environment. In other words, a device that detects or measures rainfall intensity (hereinafter simply referred to as a "detection device") is installed on or near the road in question, but the control center that ultimately issues road traffic regulation commands is responsible for determining whether the detection device is They are often located far away from where they are installed, and the control center issues regulation commands based on the signals sent from the detection devices.

FIG. 1 shows a conventional rainfall intensity detection device. In the figure, a indicates a water tank, and the water tank a
A drain port b is provided at the lowest part of the drain port b. c is a roughly funnel-shaped rain collector with a large opening d of a certain area formed at the top and a water injection pipe e at the bottom, and the water injection port f at the lower end of the water injection pipe e is directed into the water tank a. It is being g is a water level detection section provided in the water tank a, and is composed of a large number of reed switches and one float. That is, h is a gauge port, and a large number of reed switches i 1 , i 2 . . . are buried at equal intervals in the vertical direction inside the gauge port h. The arrangement interval of each of these reed switches i 1 , i 2 . . . directly affects the detection accuracy of the water level k of rainwater j, and in order to increase the detection accuracy, it is necessary to narrow the arrangement interval.

Each reed switch i 1 , i 2 . . . has a movable contact l 1 , l 2 . o indicates an alarm device such as a buzzer or lamp. P is a ring-shaped float that is fitted on the outside of the gauge port h with a slight gap so as to be able to move up and down, and magnets q and q are embedded therein. This float p is raised or lowered along the gauge port h as the water level k of rainwater j stored in the water tank a rises or falls. Although not shown in the figure, resistors with different resistance values are connected between each reed switch i 1 , i 2 . . . and the lead wire m, and the detection circuit n detects which reed switch i 1 , i 2 . . . have closed their contacts by measuring the voltage value, and the water level k of rainwater j in the water tank a is detected. Further, the alarm o is a contact l 4 of a reed switch i 4 installed at a preset warning water level r among reed switches i 1 , i 2 .
The circuit is configured to operate when the That is, the warning water level r is the dangerous level of rainfall intensity when the rainwater j has accumulated up to this water level.

Moreover, when the inflow s of rainwater flowing in from the rain collector c is larger than the flow rate t draining out from the drain outlet b, rainwater j is accumulated in the water tank a, and the water level k is gradually raised. Along with this, the float p is also gradually raised. When the reed switches i 1 , i 2 . . . come almost right next to the reed switch p, the float p also closes its contacts l 1 , l 2 . . . by the magnetic force of the magnets q, q, and the detection circuit n
detects the voltage caused by current flowing through a predetermined resistor connected to the reed switch whose contacts are closed, thereby detecting the current water level k of rainwater in the water tank a. The detection of the water level k of the rainwater j is detected as the level of rainfall intensity at that point in time. In this way, the float p is raised or lowered as the water level k rises or falls, and when the reed switch i 4 closes its contact l 4 , the alarm o is activated, indicating that the current rainfall intensity has reached the warning level. I can report things.

Furthermore, even if the rainfall intensity reaches the predetermined warning level,
Traffic restrictions are not immediately implemented, and the rainfall intensity reaches a dangerous state only after it has continued for a certain period of time, such as 10 or 20 minutes. It is judged as such.

In this way, the conventional rainfall intensity detection device shown in FIG. 1 detects rainfall intensity, but it cannot be said that the detection is performed accurately. This is because the warning water level for rainfall intensity is taken as the water level of rainwater in water tank a, and that water level is replaced by the unstable current position of float p.
Furthermore, it is an indirect detection means that detects by the response operation of reed switches i 1 , i 2 , . . . located close to the current position of the float p, and directly detects the amount of rainwater. This is because it is not a thing. This is because the raising or lowering operation of the float p fluctuates greatly in response to fluctuations in the water level k, making it extremely difficult to accurately follow minute changes in the water level.

FIG. 2 shows an example of fluctuations in the water level of rainwater stored in the water tank a, and r in the figure indicates the above-mentioned warning water level. If the water level k of rainwater j in the water tank a rises linearly as shown in graph u, and the amount of rainfall changes so that it settles at a constant water level even when it exceeds the alert level r, then The float p can stably hold its current position, and the reed switches i 1 , i 2 . . . driven by the float p will also operate correctly.
The actual water level transition is not linear like this,
As shown in graph v, the water level changes in a curved manner, and the rate of rise of the water level decreases just before reaching the water level corresponding to a specific rainfall intensity. However, it is extremely difficult for the float p to accurately follow such minute rises in the water level, and the float p rises after sinking below the rainwater water level k to some extent, that is, with a delay in the rise in the water level. In other words, the responsiveness is poor. As mentioned above, in detecting rainfall intensity, the level of rainfall intensity as well as the duration of the rainfall intensity at that level are significant, so this response delay of float p is a serious problem. be.

Furthermore, in many cases, the intensity of rainfall changes from moment to moment, and therefore the water level of rainwater in the water tank a changes by repeatedly rising and falling as shown in the graph w. Therefore, as mentioned above, if the float p cannot accurately follow changes in the water level, for example, the reed switch i4 may be activated as early as the time x when the water level has not actually reached the warning water level r. It is also possible that the reed switch i4 remains in operation even at the time y when the water level has already fallen below the warning water level r. If such a malfunction occurs, the detection circuit n will cause the detection circuit n to
Even if the duration is T 2 , it will be detected.

In addition, there are conventional rainfall intensity detection devices, such as those that detect rainfall intensity by differentiating the rainfall signal from overturned balls, and those that detect rainfall intensity by measuring the weight of rainwater. Both had practical problems, such as complicated equipment and extremely high prices.

By the way, the position of the upper drain port 23 formed above the main water tank 3 has an important meaning. This is because the rainwater 26 is discharged from this upper drain 23 when the rainfall intensity reaches a certain dangerous level, and therefore the upper drain is discharged based on the level set as the dangerous rainfall intensity. It is necessary to determine the formation position of the mouth 23. Specifically, main water tank 3
It is set based on various factors such as the cross-sectional area of the drain port 18 and the drainage capacity of the lower drain port 18. In this example, the rainfall intensity to be detected is set to 50 mm/H. Therefore, when the rainwater 26 is discharged from the upper drain 23, the rainfall intensity is 50mm/
This means that H has been reached. and,
When drainage starts from the upper drain port 23, the flow rate of rainwater discharged from the lower drain port 18 becomes constant.

When rainwater is discharged from the upper drain port 23 of the main water tank 3, the discharged rainwater accumulates in the proximal water receiving part 37 of the overturning tank 28, gradually increasing its weight until it remains constant. When the value of , the relationship between the left and right weights in FIG.
In the figure, the state where the left side is heavier changes to the state where the right side is heavier. As a result, the overturning tray 28 is tilted about the shaft 42 as the center of tilting so that its tip side is directed downward, resulting in an overturning state (the state shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3). When the overturning block 28 is overturned, the bottom surface 35 of the proximal water receiving portion 37 is inclined further downward than the horizontal line H, so that the proximal water receiving portion 37
The rainwater collected in
Moved to 8. The rainwater transferred to the tip side water receiving section 38 is prevented from flowing out by the front plate 31, so it temporarily accumulates in the tip side water receiving section 38, and some of the rainwater falls over. When subjected to an impact or the like, it flows out of the distal end side water receiving part 38 over the front plate 31, and the other part gradually flows out through the drainage small hole 39. If the rainwater continues to be discharged from the upper drainage port 23 while the overturning block 28 is overturned, the discharged rainwater will immediately fall onto the bottom surface 35 of the proximal water receiving section 37. The rainwater flows into the tip side water receiving part 38, and therefore, the overturning bucket 28 always accumulates rainwater of a certain weight or more in the tip side water receiving part 38, and maintains the overturned state. When the rainwater discharge from the upper drainage port 23 is stopped after the overturning bowl 28 is overturned, the weight of the rainwater inside the tip side water receiving part 38 gradually decreases until it reaches a certain weight or less. The fall 28 is caused by a change in the relationship between the left and right weights in FIG.
Since the first side becomes heavier, it is restored to the upward position.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above description, the rainfall intensity detection device of the present invention includes a rainfall collector that receives rainwater falling on an area having a certain area, and a rainwater collector that collects rainwater that falls on an area having a certain area. A water storage tank for collecting water, a lower drainage port provided at the bottom of the water storage tank, an upper drainage port provided above the water storage tank at a height corresponding to a predetermined rainfall intensity, and water discharged from the upper drainage port. If the weight of the accumulated water exceeds a certain standard amount, the container will tilt and fall over.In the event of a fall, the overturning cell will be in a state of overturning. It is a box with an opening, and its bottom surface has a proximal inclined surface that is sloped so that it becomes higher as it goes from the end on the tilting center side toward the center, and a base side slope that becomes higher as it goes from the tilting end toward the center. It consists of two sloping surfaces, one on the tilting end side which is tilted higher, and a small hole for draining water is formed on the tilting end side of the overturning basin, and when the overturning basin falls, the tipping side slopes on the base end side. The device is characterized in that the inclined surface can be tilted so that it becomes lower as it goes from the base end to the center. Therefore, according to the present invention, the device can be constructed at a low cost, and in particular, when the overturning container is in an overturned state, the bottom surface of the water receiving portion on the proximal end thereof slopes downward toward the distal end. Therefore, regardless of the amount of rainwater, rainwater can be stored in the water receiving part on the tip side, and the center of gravity of the tipping basket can be kept on the tip side, making it possible to maintain the tipped state. Therefore, even if the rainfall intensity changes minutely, and even slightly at a level just below the predetermined rainfall intensity, it is possible to continue to accurately monitor the minute changes in rainfall intensity, and even if the rainfall intensity is slightly above the predetermined rainfall intensity, When the rainfall intensity reaches the predetermined rainfall intensity, it can be properly detected that the predetermined rainfall intensity has been reached, so that the rainfall intensity can be properly detected.
