この発明はメツキ物、特にICリードフレーム
の如き短冊状のメツキ物を取出すための装置に関

キライン上でメツキ物を搬送しては前処理、メツ

施す技術が従来より種々採用されてきたが、メツ
キ物の形状構造によつては通常の搬送手段が使用
できずそのために特殊なラツクその他が要求さ
れ、又メツキ処理として噴射メツキが採用される
場合には入側の搬送ラインよりメツキ装置上にメ
ツキ物を移載しまた出側の搬送ラインにそのメツ
キ物を取出す必要があり、しかもメツキ物がIC
リードフレームの如く短冊状を有する場合効率の
点からこれら短冊状のメツキ物を複数枚同時に処
理していく必要がある。そこでこの出願人は複数
枚の短冊状のメツキ物を予め台車に整列・載置し
ておき台車ごとメツキ物を移送しては前処理、メ
ツキ処理及び後処理し自動的に多数のメツキ物を
効率よくメツキ処理する装置を先に提案した〔特
開昭56−99127号参照〕。この提案によれば相当処
理スピードが向上するものの台車を介しメツキ物
を搬送しているため処理スピードをそれ以上には
高速化しがたいところがあつた。このため台車を
用いずにメツキ物を直接ローラコンペア上で整
列・移送し複数のメツキ物を同時にメツキ処理す

短冊状のメツキ物を複数枚同時に取出し後処理用
の搬送ライン上へ移すための取出し装置を提供せ
んとするものである。具体的には、この発明に係
るメツキ物の取出し装置は、短冊状のメツキ物
が、張設された複数本のワイヤで支持されると共
に周囲に設けられた複数の位置決めピンにより位
置決めされた状態で、メツキ処理されるメツキ装
置におけるメツキ物の取出し装置であつて、進退
自在な左右一対のベースプレート間に桁材を架設
し、傾斜面付の上爪部を有する固定チヤツク及び
上記上爪部の傾斜面に対応する傾斜面付の下爪部
を有する可動チヤツクを組合せ且つ上下両爪部を
接・離自在にしたチヤツクを複数、上記桁材に所
定間隔で設けてなり、ベースプレートの前進によ
り短冊状のメツキ物の短辺側に臨んだチヤツクが
傾斜面付の上下両爪部の間にメツキ物の短辺側を
挟持することによりメツキ物の他の短辺側が持ち
上がる状態となり、そしてこの状態においてベー
スプレートが後退することにより、メツキ物をそ
のメツキ面がワイヤに触れさることのない状態で

列状態で待機させられている。又、第5図中で、
27はメツキ液の噴射ノズル、28はワイヤにテ

この時第5図及び第6図で示す如く下爪部21は
一番端の位置決めピン26aを避けてメツキ物1
3の一端部下面側に位置する。次いで上記圧力シ
リンダー5を働かせ可動チヤツク4を先とは逆に
回動し上爪部17に対し下爪部21を押上げ両爪
部17,21間でメツキ物13を挾持する〔第5
図〕。両爪部17,21には各々傾斜面18,2
0が設けてあるためメツキ物13は他端が持ち上
げられた状態即ち傾斜状態下に全体が置かれ位置
決めピン26間より取出されやすく且つ他端を含
む全体がワイヤ25と接触しない状態となる。つ
まり、メツキが施されたメツキ面がワイヤ25と
接触して擦られることにより、このメツキ面を損
傷するようなことがない状態となる。前述の如く
固定チヤツク3の下部は門形状を有し且つ可動チ
ヤツク4の下部にも間〓があるので、位置決めピ
ン〔第5図乃至第6図の26a〕の存在にもかか
わらずベースプレート2、桁材10及びチヤツク
6をそのまま先とは逆方向〔第5図、矢印B方
向〕に移動〔後退〕せしめれば、メツキ物13は
部分メツキ装置22上より取出されたことにな
る。そして適宜の後処理用の搬送ライン例えばロ
ーラーコンベア群上にメツキ物13を載置し再び
先の動作を繰返せばよい。尚、以上に於いてチヤ
ツク6は桁材10上に複数設けてあり、これによ
つて同時にその数に見合う枚数のメツキ物13を
取出すことになるが、一つの素材に複数の固定チ
ヤツク3を形成し〔例えば合成樹脂材の切削やモ
ールド成形をし〕他の素材に同じく複数の可動チ
ヤツク4を形成し、両者を1つ又は2つの圧力シ
リンダー5で全体的に同時に開閉するようにして

動及び両爪部の接・離により複数枚の短冊状のメ
ツキ物を挾持して全体を傾斜状に持上げて取出す
ことができ効率の良いメツキ物の取出しが可能に
なるという効果がある。そして複数枚を同時に取
出すことができるのでその分メツキ処理ライン全
体の処理スピードの向上が期待できるものであ

イヤで支持されると共に周囲に設けられた複数の
位置決めピンにより位置決めされた状態で、メツ
キ処理されるメツキ装置におけるメツキ物の取出
し装置であつて、 進退動自在な左右一対のベースプレート間に桁
材を架設し、傾斜面付の上爪部を有する固定チヤ
ツク及び上記上爪部の傾斜面に対応する傾斜面付
の下爪部を有する可動チヤツクを組合せ且つ上下
両爪部を接・離自在にしたチヤツクを複数、上記
桁材に所定間隔で設けてなり、 ベースプレートの前進により短冊状のメツキ物
の短辺側に臨んだチヤツクが傾斜面付の上下両爪
部の間にメツキ物の短辺側を挟持することにより
メツキ物の他の短辺側が持ち上がる状態となり、
そしてこの状態においてベースプレートが後退す
ることにより、メツキ物がそのメツキ面をワイヤ
に触れさせない状態で取り出されることを特徴と
するメツキ物の取出し装置。[Claims] 1.
