Flat cables used in undercarpet wiring systems are designed to protect the cable from disturbances that may be applied to the cable from above over its entire surface.
Must be covered with a top protective sheet. Furthermore, the top protective sheet must be grounded to prevent electric shock. One of the methods is to electrically and mechanically connect the ground wire of the cable and the top protective sheet using a ground connector. This has the effect of increasing connection reliability since each top protection sheet is connected by a ground connector. Furthermore, it also has the effect of preventing the upper surface protection sheet from shifting from the cable.

That is, there was a problem in that connection resistance increased due to repeated application of external force.

a pair of opposing pieces connected via the flat cable bending portion of the present invention and sandwiching the flat cable therebetween;
At least three pieces are arranged in a row on the opposing surfaces of the opposing piece portions, and the pieces facing each other in the direction of the bending line are cut and raised inwardly or outwardly, respectively;
In addition, at least one pair of the connecting protrusions facing in the direction of the bending line is provided with a triangular connecting protrusion in which the direction of cutting and raising is opposite to that of the other pair, and each connection of the pair of opposing piece parts is provided. The protrusion is provided at a symmetrical position with respect to the bending line, and
The connecting protrusions are arranged such that the directions of cutting and raising are opposite to each other, and the flat cable is pinched between the facing pieces and the connecting protrusions are passed through, so that the cutting and raising source sides of the connecting protrusions are engaged with each other. It is slightly inclined in the direction from which it was cut and raised.

接続性能が劣化しない。 According to the configuration of the present invention, when the flat cable is clamped between the pair of opposing pieces, each connection protrusion is slightly inclined in the direction from which it was cut and raised.
When the connecting protrusions penetrate through these, the connecting protrusions are inclined in the direction of the cut and raised origin and the connecting protrusions engage with each other, so that the opposing pieces can be reliably prevented from opening.
In addition, a pair of connecting protrusions facing each other in the direction of the bending line of each opposing piece are cut and raised outward or inward, and at least one pair of the connecting protrusions facing in the direction of the bending line are opposite to each other. Since it is cut and raised in the opposite direction, the external force applied to the opposing piece can be dispersed, so that the electrical connection performance will not deteriorate even if external force is repeatedly applied.

状配置となつている。 An embodiment of the invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 11. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a connector main body, which is formed by bending a metal plate at two parallel bending portions 2 into a substantially V-shape. The opening angle α between the opposing pieces 1A and 1B of the connector body 1 is set to 90°.
In the portion 1C between both bent portions 2, holes 3 for bending are formed in a line along the center. A pair of connecting protrusions 4 facing each other in the direction of the bending line of the bending portion 2 are opposed to each other on the opposing surfaces of both opposing piece portions 1A and 1B,
Moreover, it is cut and raised so as to be slightly inclined in the direction from which it was cut and raised. These connecting protrusions 4 are made of triangular incised protrusions, and are slightly bent at the center in the width direction. Reference numeral 5 denotes a hole for the connection protrusion, which is formed in a rectangular shape slightly larger than the connection protrusion 4. The connecting protrusions 4 of each opposing piece portion 1A, 1B are provided at symmetrical positions, and in two cases three times with respect to the bending line.
The connecting protrusions 4 at both ends of each row of the opposing piece portions 1B are cut and raised inward as shown in FIG. 2, and the central connecting protrusion 4 is cut and raised outward. The connecting protrusions 4 at both ends of the opposing piece portion 1A are cut and raised outward as shown in FIG. 3, and the connecting protrusion 4 at the center is cut and raised inward. Further, the three pairs of connecting protrusions 4 in each row are arranged in a staggered pattern such that the central connecting protrusion 4 is slightly offset to the sides of the opposing pieces 1A, 1B.

Pass it through. The flat cable 7 is constructed by covering three strip-shaped flat conductors 11 (FIG. 9) with an insulator 12. The long holes 9 are provided in the insulator 12 at a constant pitch between each conductor 11 and on both side edges. The upper surface protection sheet 8 is made of a metal plate, and the elongated holes 10 are formed in correspondence with the row of elongated holes 9 of the flat cable 7. The elongated hole 10 of the upper surface protection sheet 8 is formed to have approximately twice the length of the elongated hole 9 of the flat cable 7. After passing the connector through as shown in Fig. 8, the opposing pieces 1A and 1B of the connector main body 1 will be parallel to the top protection sheet 8 and the flat cable 7 as shown in Fig. 9, so the connector main body 1 can be removed by hand. Fold. γ indicates a parallel gap. After this, use a crimping tool to connect the connector body 1.
to squeeze. As a result, the connection protrusion 4 breaks through the insulator 12 and the top protection sheet 8 of the flat cable 7, contacts the conductor 11, and electrically connects the conductor 11 and the top protection sheet 8. The connecting protrusion 4 of the portions 1A and 1B is the first
As shown in FIG. 1, by tilting in the direction of the cutting and raising source, they engage with each other and prevent the opposing pieces 1A and 1B from opening. Note that when the connector body 1 is further bent from the 90° open state shown in FIG. 1, the connector body 1 is bent along the arrangement of the holes 3. In addition, the connector body 1 is bent in advance at two bending portions 2, so that when the connecting protrusion 4 bites into the flat cable 7 and the upper protective sheet 8, the opposing piece portion 1A , 1B are bent so that they become parallel to each other. Therefore, the connection protrusion 4

Further, the upper protective sheet 8 and the flat cable 7 do not shift. In addition, even if external force such as someone stepping on the carpet covering the top protection sheet 8 is repeatedly applied to the connector body, the connection is made by the six pairs of connecting protrusions 4, so as can be seen from the results of conventional experiments. No deterioration in connection performance, that is, no increase in resistance occurs.

As a test sample, a flat cable 7 and a top protection sheet 8 connected with this connector as shown in FIG. 12 are prepared. The flat cable 7 is provided with an insulator peeled portion P, and the resistance between this portion and a predetermined location Q of the upper protective sheet 8 is measured. Dimensions l 1 and l 2 are

and fix it on plywood (not shown) with fixing adhesive tape 14. These are covered with a carpet 15 spread in the form of tiles (FIG. 14). In place of the connector of this embodiment, such a connector is separately prepared using one with five pairs of connecting protrusions 4 and one with four pairs of connecting protrusions 4. A cart 16 as shown in FIG. 15 is moved from above these, and the change in resistance between PQ is measured. The trolley 16 weighs 75 kg and has nine casters 17. The test results were as shown in Figure 16. In the figure, a solid line A shows this embodiment (six pairs of connecting protrusions 4), a broken line B shows an example with five pairs of connecting protrusions 4, and a chain line C shows an example with four pairs of connecting protrusions 4. From this result, it can be seen that if there are six or more pairs of connection protrusions 4, the connection resistance will not increase even if the carriage 16 is passed over 20,000 times.
