The present invention relates to a resin laminate, in particular transparency,
The present invention relates to a resin laminate that has excellent gas barrier properties, moisture permeability resistance, etc., and has good interlayer adhesion. Conventionally, saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers and polyamide resins have gas barrier properties, oil resistance,
Although it has excellent properties such as strength, it has a high moisture permeability and is expensive.
It had the disadvantage that it could not be used as a single material for food packaging films, containers, fuel tanks, etc. On the other hand, polypropylene has excellent transparency, moisture impermeability, and processability, and is relatively inexpensive, so it is widely used as a packaging material for foods, chemicals, and the like. However, it has the disadvantage of poor gas barrier properties. It has been proposed to laminate the two in order to compensate for these drawbacks, but since polypropylene is non-polar, the interlayer adhesion strength is so low that it is impractical. Therefore, methods of blending polyolefins modified with unsaturated carboxylic acids, rubbers, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, etc. with polypropylene are being considered. However, this method has the disadvantage that the properties of polypropylene are lost, and interlayer adhesion, transparency, heat resistance, etc. are not sufficient. Therefore, the present inventor conducted research to develop a resin laminate with high interlayer adhesion and excellent transparency, gas barrier properties, moisture permeability, etc. As a result, the inventors discovered that polypropylene and ethylene-acetic acid can be bonded together through a specific adhesive layer. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that a resin laminate in which saponified vinyl copolymers and the like are laminated overcomes the above-mentioned drawbacks and has the above-mentioned excellent properties. That is, the present invention provides an adhesive layer consisting of 55 to 99% by weight of a modified polypropylene resin containing 0.001 to 3.0% by weight of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof and 45 to 1% by weight of a butene-1 homopolymer or copolymer. (A) polypropylene layer (hereinafter referred to as (A) layer)
and (B) a resin layer made of saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or polyamide resin (hereinafter referred to as (B) layer). In the present invention, the adhesive layer is made of a modified polypropylene resin containing 0.001 to 3.0% by weight of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative (hereinafter referred to as component (a)) and a butene-1 homopolymer or copolymer (hereinafter referred to as (a) component). b) consists of components). Here, component (a) means polypropylene modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, or a mixture of the modified polypropylene and unmodified polypropylene. Examples of polypropylene include propylene homopolymers, block copolymers of propylene and other copolymer components such as ethylene, and random copolymers. The unsaturated carboxylic acids used for modifying the polypropylene include acrylic acid, methacrylic acid,
These include maleic acid, fumaric acid, itaconic acid, crotonic acid, citraconic acid, sorbic acid, mesaconic acid, and angelic acid. Further, its derivatives include acid anhydrides, esters, amides, imides, metal salts, etc., such as maleic anhydride, itaconic anhydride, citraconic anhydride, methyl acrylate,
Methyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, maleic acid monoethyl ester,
Examples include acrylamide, maleic acid monoamide, maleimide, N-butylmaleimide, sodium acrylate, and sodium methacrylate. The method for modifying polypropylene with these unsaturated carboxylic acids or derivatives thereof is not particularly limited, and various known methods can be used. For example, a radical initiator is added to polypropylene and maleic anhydride in the presence or absence of a solvent, and the mixture is heated. During the reaction, other vinyl monomers such as styrene or rubbers such as liquid rubber and thermoplastic rubber may also be present. The amount of acid addition of the unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative in the modified polypropylene thus obtained is usually 0.001 to 13% by weight, preferably 0.01 to 6% by weight.
Weight%. As the modified polypropylene resin, the above-mentioned modified polypropylene may be used as it is, but it is preferably mixed and diluted with unmodified polypropylene so that the final content of unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative is 0.001 to 3.0% by weight, preferably
It should be in the range of 0.05 to 1.5% by weight. If the content of the unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative is less than 0.001% by weight, the interlayer adhesion strength will decrease, and if it exceeds 3.0% by weight, the laminate will turn yellow, which is not preferable. Next, as component (b), a homopolymer of butene-1 or a copolymer with other α-olefins such as ethylene, propylene, etc. is used. This copolymer is obtained by regular polymerization using butene-1 monomer and other α-olefin monomers as raw materials. Note that when other α-olefin monomers are used, their content should be 20% by weight or less, preferably 10% by weight or less. Butene-1 homopolymer or copolymer has a density of 0.900 to 0.940 g/
cm 3 preferably 0.910 to 0.930 g/cm 3 , melt index MI 0.01 to 30 g/10 min, preferably 0.3 to
10.0g/10 minutes. The adhesive layer used in the present invention contains the above (a) and (b) in an amount of 55 to 99% by weight of component (a) and 45 to 1% by weight of component (b).
Preferably, the amount of component (a) is 80 to 95% by weight and the amount of component (b) is 20 to 5% by weight. If the amount of component (b) exceeds 45% by weight or is less than 1% by weight, the adhesiveness, heat resistance, etc. will deteriorate, making it impossible to put it into practical use. An adhesive layer can be obtained by kneading the above components using an extruder, a Banbury mixer, or the like. Next, as the polypropylene resin for the layer (A) in the resin laminate of the present invention, propylene homopolymer,
There is a copolymerization of propylene with other α-olefins such as ethylene, and the α-olefin content is 30% by weight.
The following are appropriate. Next, layer (B) is composed of a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and a polyamide resin, either alone or in a mixture of both. Here, the composition of the saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is not particularly limited, but preferably an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with an ethylene content of 25 to 50 mol% and a saponified degree of 93% or more. , preferably 96
% or more is preferable. If it is outside this range, the gas barrier properties, oil resistance, etc. will be poor, so it is not preferable. Polyamide resins are linear synthetic polymers with acid amide bonds obtained by condensation of diamines and dicarboxylic acids, self-condensation of amino acids, and ring-opening polymerization of lactams. Specifically, polyamide resins include 6-nylon (polycaproamide). ; 6,6-nylon (polyhexamethylene adiphamide); 6,10-nylon (polyhexamethylene sebacamide); 11-nylon (polyundecamide); 12-nylon, etc. can be used. It is also possible to obtain a laminate with further improved physical properties by coextruding both layers of saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and polyamide resin as layer (B). The resin laminate of the present invention can be manufactured by a coextrusion molding method, and specifically, a multilayer inflation method, a multilayer T-die sheet manufacturing method, a multilayer blow molding method, etc. can be used. Moreover, it can also be manufactured by a thermocompression bonding method or the like. The thickness of each layer in the resin laminate of the present invention varies depending on the purpose of use of the laminate and is not uniquely determined, but usually (A) layer/adhesive layer/(B) layer = 20~
500μ/5~30μ/10~40μ, preferably 40~
300μ/10~20μ/15~30μ. Note that the resin laminate of the present invention can be bonded to (A) through an adhesive layer.
It is made by laminating layers and (B), but it can also be made into a multilayer laminate by laminating other layers on the outside of the (A) and (B) layers via a suitable adhesive layer. . The resin laminate of the present invention maintains the properties of the resin used in the (A) layer and (B) layer, that is, transparency, moisture permeability, gas barrier properties, heat resistance, processability, etc., and has extremely excellent physical properties. This shows that. Furthermore, since they are laminated with the adhesive layer as described above interposed therebetween, the interlayer adhesion force is extremely high. Therefore, the resin laminate of the present invention can be suitably used in various fields, such as packaging films and containers for foods and the like. Next, examples of the present invention will be shown. Examples 1 to 10 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4 The compositions shown in Table 1 were supplied to a twin-screw kneading extruder and kneaded at 200°C to obtain adhesive layer compositions. Next, homopolypropylene (density 0.91 g/cm 3 , MI 2.0 g/10 min) and saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (vinyl acetate content 40% by weight, degree of saponification 98 %) or 6-nylon (relative viscosity 4.4) was under-blown using a water-cooled inflation molding machine to form a polypropylene layer of 40μ, an adhesive layer of 20μ, and a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or 6-nylon layer of 20μ. A resin laminate was obtained. Table 1 shows the test results regarding the physical properties of the obtained resin laminate.
