  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 複数の給紙トレイと、 それぞれの給紙トレイに収納される用紙の色を
    検出する検出器と、 画像形成された用紙中の指定されたページに、
    異なる色用紙を挿入するモードを合紙モードとし
    て設定する手段と、 その合紙モードが設定された時、前記検出器で
    検出された用紙のうち異なる色の用紙を前記指定
    されたページに挿入する手段と、を設けたことを
    特徴とする合紙機能を有する画像形成装置。
