Claims (1)
- 液晶層をはさんで対向する一対の透明基板の対
向面にそれぞれ透明電極を設け、かつ一方の基板
の電極を、この基板面に形成したカラーフイルタ
の上に、このフイルタを覆う透明保護膜とこの保
護膜上に設けた透明絶縁膜とを介して形成したカ
ラー液晶表示素子において、前記透明絶縁膜を、
カラーフイルタ上の部分は薄く、フイルタ端面を
覆う部分はフイルタ端面に対する水平方向の厚さ
がフイルタ上面側から基板側に向かつて徐々に厚
くなる厚さに形成したことを特徴とするカラー液
晶表示素子。
