There is one that has two large and small concave mold parts arranged side by side for molding. However, the above-mentioned plaster mold is large and long due to its structure, making it inconvenient to handle, and its asymmetrical thickness makes it easily damaged by impact. When doing so, there were problems such as the bulk.

When using, fill the large-diameter concave part of the main mold and the small-diameter concave part of the sub-mold with small pieces of pounded rice cake of the required size, invert the sub-mold, and fill the small diameter part of the small-diameter concave part of the sub-mold. If you stack it on the mold and remove it after an appropriate amount of time,
It is possible to obtain large and small kagami mochi without cracks.

is fixed to the upper edge of the opening of the main mold 2 with a thick flange-like part 5 provided on the outer periphery of the opening, and is placed inside the large diameter concave part 1 in the shape of an inverted mirror cake provided on the main mold 2. Since they are stably fitted, they can be safely left in place without fear of damage, and the main mold 2 and sub-mold 4 combined by fitting as described above are not bulky. It is extremely convenient to handle and organize. However, when using
Grasp the brim 5 and take out the sub-mold 4 from the concave part 1 of the main mold 2. Small concave parts 3 are each filled with small pieces of hot, soft mochi of the required size that have been pounded and coated with flour, and the upper surfaces of each are made flat, and after an appropriate period of time, each is turned over and removed from the mold. For example, a large diameter kagami mochi can be obtained by the large diameter concave part 1 shaped like an inverted mirror mochi, and a small diameter kagami mochi can be obtained by the small diameter concave part 3 shaped like a reversed mirror mochi. without doing,
The large-diameter concave part 1 and the small-diameter concave part 3 are filled with small lumps of hot, soft rice cake of the required size with dust attached, and the top surface is made flat, and the sub-mold 4
is inverted and stacked on the main mold 2, and the sub-mold 4 is supported in a press-contact state on the upper edge of the opening of the main mold 2 with the thick flange-shaped part 5 provided on the outer periphery of the opening. As shown in the figure, the rice cakes filled in the large-diameter concave part 1 and the rice cakes filled in the small-diameter concave part 3 are stacked together without sticking together due to the powder attached to their respective surfaces. Moreover, the main mold 2 and the sub-mold 4 are in a state of being cut off from the outside world. Therefore, if you leave it as it is for a while, the main mold 2 and sub mold 4
is a plaster mold made by condensing plaster with water, so the mochii and mochiro filled in the large diameter concave part 1 and the small diameter concave part 3 absorb some of the small amount of steam and moisture generated. As it is absorbed by the plaster mold, it loses the heat of vaporization and gradually cools and hardens. During this cooling and hardening process, the mochii and mochiro are not exposed to the outside air, so
The generation of cracks is prevented, and the large and small kagami mochi that are removed from the large diameter concave part 1 of the reversed mirror mochi and the small diameter concave part 3 of the reverse mirror mochi always maintain an appropriate shape and have no surface cracks. Can be done. In addition, when used as described above, the main mold 2 and the sub-mold 4 stacked together with the mochi-i and the mochi-ro do not take up much bulk, so a large number of the main mold 2 and the sub-mold 4 are used. This method is advantageous in that it does not require a large space when mass producing multiple sets of two kagami mochi.

It is not bulky and easy to handle, and it is also easy to organize a large number of pieces, and it can be used while preventing the occurrence of cracks that occur when molding kagami-mochi, so it has great practical value. be.
