In order to subject blister copper, nickel, lead, etc. obtained through smelting to electrolytic refining, they are cast into a rectangular plate shape with a supporting portion protruding left and right from both edges at one end to form an anode. The anode is suspended in the electrolytic cell by being hung on conductors provided on both side walls of the electrolytic cell using the supporting parts. The sides of the as-cast anode are sloped to make it easier to remove it from the mold, and since it does not make good contact with the conductor and is not suspended vertically, the lower surface of the support is shaped by cutting. things are being done.

Cutting and shaping generally involves supporting the support of the anode on a conveyor, sending it to a cutting device, lifting it above the path of the conveyor, or placing it in the cutting device, holding the anode on both sides, and cutting the lower surface of the support with the cutting device. The process is carried out by supporting the conveyor again and sending it to the next process.

Conventionally, when cutting the lower surface of the anode support with a cutting device, the anode is simply held between both sides, so the support vibrates elastically due to the cutting depth of the cutter, reducing cutting accuracy. There was a problem with inconsistent and loud noise.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a rectangular plate-shaped anode, which has a support portion 2 projecting left and right from both edges at one end. Reference numeral 3 denotes a conveyor consisting of chain conveyors arranged horizontally at intervals slightly wider than the width of the rectangular plate-shaped portion of the anode 1, which supports the left and right support portions 2 of the anode 1 and suspends them one after another at predetermined intervals. However, it moves intermittently by a predetermined distance. On both sides of the conveyor 3, there are support girders 4 extending parallel to the conveyor 3, supporting the support girders 4, and raising and lowering the upper surface of the support girders 4 from slightly below to above the conveyor 3. A lifting device 6 consisting of a cylinder 5 is provided. A frame 7 provided above between the conveyors 3 has a reference plate 8 suspended from the frame 7 along a vertical plane perpendicular to the conveyor 3, and a reference plate 8 suspended from the frame 7 facing the reference plate 8. A clamping device 10 consisting of a cylinder 9 with which the anode 1 is pressed is firmly fixed to the frame 7. There are cutting devices 1 on both sides of the position where the anode 1 is supported by the clamping device 10.
1 is provided. The tool rest 13 of the cutting device 11 can move in and out of the conveyor 3, and the milling cutter 12 supported on the tool rest 13
It is provided so that the lower surface of the support part 2 of the anode 1 can be cut while being rotated. The frame 7 is provided with a pressing support device 14 consisting of a cylinder that individually presses the upper surface of the support portion 2 of the anode 1 held by the holding device 10. Although not shown in FIG. 1, a guide rod 15 for regulating the movement path of the support girder 4 is shown in FIG. This guide rod 1
5 is engaged with both ends of the support girder 4, and the guide rod 1
5 is fixed to the frame 7 at both upper and lower ends.

The conveyor 3 moves intermittently and is arranged so that the anode 1 suspended on the conveyor 3 stops at a clamping position of the clamping device 10. When the conveyor 3 stops, the lifting device 6 operates, and the support part 2 of the anode 1
is supported by the support girder 4, lifted to a clamping position by the clamping device 10, and stopped there. When the lifting device 6 stops at the raised position, the cylinder 9 of the clamping device 10 extends and presses the anode 1 against the reference plate 8, so that the reference plate 8 and the cylinder 9 clamp the anode 1. When the anode 1 is clamped by the clamping device 10,
The elevating device 10 is lowered to a position where the cutting device 13 approaches the support portion 2 and does not form a ridge, and at the same time the pressing support device 14 operates to press the upper surface of the support portion 2 with a predetermined pressure. Next, the tool rests 13 of the cutting device 11 each approach the bearing part 2, and the milling cutter 12 cuts the lower surface of the bearing part 2 from the end toward the base. Move back to position and stop. When this cutting process is completed, the pressing support device 14 moves upward away from the upper surface of the support section 2, and rises until the support girder 4 of the lifting device 6 comes into contact with the lower surface of the support section 2. Then the cylinder 9 of the clamping device 10
moves the anode 1 away from the anode 1 using the lifting device 6
to support.

When the cylinder 9 leaves the anode 1, the support spar 4 lowers and suspends the support 2 of the anode 1 on the conveyor 3. When the support part 2 is suspended on the conveyor 3, the conveyor 3 moves, moves the anode 1 that has been cut out of the anode shaping device, moves the unprocessed anode to the processing position, and stops.

In this device, when cutting the lower surface of the anode support, a pressure support device is installed that presses the support portions individually from the upper surface. As a result, the vibrations applied to the bearing parts can be suppressed individually, and each bearing part can be held securely regardless of the difference in casting dimensions, so cutting accuracy can be improved compared to conventional methods, and the noise generated from the vibration of the bearing parts can be suppressed. This can improve the working environment.
