斜視図、第２図は、第１図においてラツクとピニ
オン部分を縦断面して示したブロツク図、第３図
は、ラツク変位量とラツクガイドクリアランスと
の関係を線図で示した説明用図、第４図は第１図
の装置についてラツク変位量、ラツクガイドキヤ
ツプ締付トルク及び回転角との関係を示す線図で
ある。第５図は、ラツクガイドキヤツプの規定ト
ルクを基準にしてラツクガイドクリアランスを調
整したときのラツクガイド締付トルク、ラツクガ
イドクリアランス及び回転角の関係を線図で示し
た説明用図である。第６図は、従来のラツクガイ
ドクリアランスの調整手段を示す斜視図である。 １…締込ユニツト、２…トルク検出器、３…ラ
ツク変位量検出器、４…制御装置、６…ラツクガ
イドキヤツプ、８…ラツクステアリング（ラツク
）、１０…ねじりユニツト。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ラツクに所定のねじりトルクを付与するねじり
    ユニツトを設け、ラツクガイドキヤツプの締付ト
    ルクを検出するトルク検出器からの信号と前記ね
    じりトルクを付与されたラツクの変位量を検出す
    るラツク変位量検出器からの信号により、ラツク
    ガイドキヤツプを締付ける締付ユニツトの回転を
    制御する制御装置を設けたことを特徴とするステ
    アリングラツクガイドクリアランスの自動調整装
    置。
