It is extremely difficult to apply pressure uniformly to each of the cores 11, 12, 21, and 22 of the cores 11, 12, 21, and 22 to bond them in a state in which they are in pressure contact with each other without gaps, and requires a large number of man-hours. A gap was likely to occur between the third core and the first and second cores. li! If a gap occurs, magnetic flux leaks through the gap, and external noise is easily picked up, resulting in a decrease in magnetic efficiency and other adverse effects on various characteristics of the magnetic head element main body 30. And the magnetic head element main body 30
There was a problem in that various characteristics of the material deteriorated and variations occurred in the various characteristics.

A magnetic head having a magnetic circuit including a third core fixed to an end of the third core, and a slider sandwiching and reinforcing the first and second cores and slidingly contacting the magnetic recording medium. A structure is adopted in which an elastic member is provided in pressure contact with and held between the core and the slider to press and fix the third core to the first and second cores.

3 is brought into contact with the first and second cores 11.12 and 21.22, with the vertical side portion of the T-shape overlapping the second core 12.22. Furthermore, a T-shaped leaf spring 10 is attached to the third core 1 from above.
The third core 13.23 is press-fitted between the rib 6a of the slider 6 so as to overlap in a T-shape of 3°23.

The magnetic head employs a structure in which an elastic member is provided in pressure contact with the third core and the slider and held between them to press and fix the third core to the first and second cores. Therefore, the third core can be tightly fixed to the first and second cores without any gaps, and the fixed portions do not change over time, which improves and makes the characteristics of the magnetic head more uniform. The excellent effect of improving durability can be obtained.
