Claims (1)
- 機関の内部で燃料を燃焼させて空気を直接加熱
し、その膨張によつて仕事を行なう内燃機関の、
そのシリンダ内を摺動し、爆発圧力を頂面で受け
てコネクチングロツドに伝えると共に、空気の吸
入、圧縮於び燃焼ガスの排出を司るピストンにお
いて、膨張工程時の該ピストンに働くスラスト力
方向の爆発圧力に対する受圧面積が、反スラスト
力方向の受圧面積より小さくなるようピストン頂
面を形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関のピスト
ン。
