Conventional air purifiers are constructed as described above.2 For example, when the air becomes dirty, the calculation section (9) reads the output of the gas sensor (71) whose resistance value changes depending on the gas concentration, and calculates a predetermined ratio value. When the above is completed, a signal is sent to the control unit ae.The control unit +1 (I) controls the conduction of the triac av in order to operate the fan motor (4). )

Furthermore, as the air becomes cleaner, the output of the gas sensor (7) decreases. When this output value becomes less than a predetermined value, the arithmetic unit (9) sends a signal to the control unit QQ. In order to stop the control unit or the fan motor (4), the triac t1υ is controlled to be turned off, thereby stopping the supply of power to the fan motor (4).

In FIG. 1, (1) to (6) are the same as in the conventional example. I is an odor sensor using an oxide semiconductor whose resistance value changes depending on the concentration of odor, and σ is installed upwind of the deodorizing filter (6b). Arranged. Odor sensor with the same performance as odor sensor α4, αG is a deodorizing filter replacement time warning light, aη
1 is a control device consisting of a calculation processing unit which compares and calculates the voltage output from the odor sensor α and α, and a control unit a9 which determines whether or not to output to the warning light aS based on the calculation result.

In addition, the odor sensor α4.a5 installed upwind and downwind of the deodorizing filter (6") has a characteristic that the output value changes depending on the odor intensity, as shown in Figure 2. If the deodorizing filter (6b) has a deodorizing effect, the output value (■a41) of the odor sensor I located upwind will be higher than the output value (VaS) of the odor sensor α9 located downwind, so
