Claims (1)
- 光源からの直線偏光を２つに分波する第１の定
偏波光フアイバカプラと、第１の定偏波光フアイ
バカプラによつて分波された２つの直線偏光を合
波し出射する第２の定偏波光フアイバカプラとを
有し、前記第１の定偏波光フアイバカプラと第２
の定偏波光フアイバカプラとの間の光軸上に、分
波された２つの直線偏光の偏波面が互いに直交す
るよう偏波面を調整する偏波面制御素子および分
波された２つの直線偏光の少なくとも１方を周波
数変調する光周波数シフタとを設けたことを特徴
とする直交偏波型光周波数シフタ。
