Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ スプリングで軸方向に押圧されたシールリン
グと、このシールリングに対向摺接するメイテイ
ングリングを有し、両リングのうち一方はハウジ
ングに支持され、他方が回転軸とともに回転する
メカニカルシールにおいて、シールリングの外周
にスクイーク部材を配置し、シールリングが摩耗
した場合に、上記スクイーク部材をハウジングま
たはメイテイングリングに接触させて異音を発生
させることにより、シール寿命が尽きかけたこと
を知らせるようにしたことを特徴とするメカニカ
ルシール。 ２ 請求項１記載のメカニカルシールにおいて、
スクイーク部材は、メイテイングリング側端部に
切欠きを備えていることを特徴とするメカニカル
シール。
