Claims (1)
- 機体の回転側ハウジングに固定されたメイテイ
ングリングに、機体の固定側ハウジングに固定さ
れたシールリングを摺接するとともに、このシー
ルリングの摺動面を金属等からなる硬質外周材と
カーボン素材からなる内周材とで接合形成してな
るメカニカルシールにおいて、前記シールリング
の摺動面を形成する外周材と内周材との接合部間
に環状溝を設けたことを特徴とするメカニカルシ
ール。
