る湯面センサと、該湯面センサの信号により前記
加圧ガス供給系の圧力を増減し前記加圧室内の溶
湯面を昇降させる制御装置とから構成する加圧式
定湯面炉において、前記加圧室内の最低溶湯面位
置に、前記加圧容器の側面隔壁を貫通する穴、ま
たは、切欠きを設けて、前記加圧室内の溶湯面が
最低位置に下降した場合に、前記穴、または、切
欠きから前記加圧ガスを流出させ、前記加圧室内
の溶湯面を最低位置以下に下降させないようにし
