- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 回転駆動される現像スリーブ内に、該現像スリ
ーブを介して潜像担持体と略対応するように配置
されていて、潜像担持体に形成された静電潜像の
可視像化に供せられる現像剤の磁気ブラシを現像
スリーブ上に形成する磁極を有する画像形成装置
の乾式現像装置において、 前記磁極を、現像スリーブと潜像担持体との最
近接部よりも、現像スリーブ上現像剤の移動方向
上流側に配置し、且つ、当該磁極の作る磁場が、
前記配置位置における磁極の極上法線に対して、
現像剤進行方向側へ傾くように、当該磁極の設置
姿勢を定めたことを特徴とする画像形成装置の乾
式現像装置。
