  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 内部に磁界発生手段を有する回転自在な現
    像剤担持体表面に磁性現像剤を吸着させると共に
    、規制部材で所定の厚さと幅に規制された現像剤
    層が静電潜像担持体上の潜像に交番電界の作用に
    よつて飛翔させて顕像化する現像装置において、 上記磁界発生手段の静電潜像担持体の方を向く
    磁極の最大磁力線位置が、静電潜像担持体と現像
    剤担持体とがなす最近接部よりも該現像剤担持体
    の移動方向下流側で上記最近接部から１５度以内
    の角範囲内にある、 ことを特徴とする現像装置。 (2) 磁界発生手段の静電潜像担持体方向を向く
    磁極の最大磁力線位置と静電潜像担持体移動下流
    側にて隣接する磁極の最大磁力線位置のなす角度
    が９０度以下であることを特徴とする実用新案登
    録請求の範囲第(1)項記載の現像装置。
