本考案はアコヤ貝の外套膜を小片に切つたり、
同アコヤ貝の腸部分を切り込んで同部より上記外
套膜の小片をビードと共に挿入するために用いら
れる真珠養殖用メスの改良に関し、更に具体的に
は同真珠養殖用メスの切れ味を向上させるための

求されるのであるが、これらの要求を充足させる
べくステンレスを素材に用いて真珠養殖用メスを
形成することが多い。

させる事が出来る様にした事を特徴とするもので

材に用いて形成される。又、刃7は超硬合金を素
材に用いて形成され、同刃7は上記柄6の先端部

本考案は以上の様に構成されるものであつて、
上記の様に把手部の一端に突設する真珠養殖用メ
スの全体若しくは刃先部分を非常に硬い超硬合金
を素材に用いて形成する様にしたことにより、同
真珠養殖用メスの切れ味を向上させることが出来
ることに加えて、その切れ味を長期間に亘つて維
持させることが出来るに至つた。又、把手部の他
端にアコヤ貝の外套膜の小片や球(ビード)を刺
突して母貝に挿入するために使用するフオークを
一体に設けたことにより、前記メスを使用した
後、把手部を反転させるのみで即座に同フオーク
の使用が可能となり、上記の様に切れ味が良くて
耐久性に優れた真珠養殖用メスを得ることが出来
ることと相俟つて核入れ作業においてその作業性
を著しく向上させることが出来るに至つた。
