  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ モータ室側上部及びポンプ室側下部のハウジ
    ング間のオイルバス内に挿通された回転軸の軸周
    をそれぞれ軸封するダブル型メカニカルシールか
    らなる軸封装置であつて、前記上部メカニカルシ
    ールは、下部メカニカルシールをバツクアツプす
    るシールケースの背面にメイテイングリングを摺
    接させ、このメイテイングリングを前記モータ室
    側ハウジングに独立気泡性の多孔質プラスチツク
    からなる保持体を介して固定するように構成した
    ことを特徴とする軸封装置。 ２ メインテイングリングが摺接するシールケー
    スの背面の一部にセラミツクコーテイングを施し
    たことを特徴とする請求項１記載の軸封装置。
