[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention is an automobile safety system that can bring the automobile to a sudden stop in an extremely safe and reliable manner in the event of a collision, in order to prevent personal injury accidents caused by automobiles or to prevent single-car accidents. It concerns protective bodies. [Conventional technology] In order to prevent personal injury accidents caused by vehicles during road construction, or to prevent single-vehicle accidents, iron safety fences or safety cones have traditionally been placed on road surfaces where vehicles are not allowed to enter. ing. However, conventional safety devices of this type do not have the function of absorbing or dispersing the strong kinetic energy of a car to bring the car to a sudden stop when a car collides with it, resulting in personal injury or single-car accidents. It is impossible to prevent this. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention improves the problems of the prior art as described above, and when a car collides, absorbs and/or disperses the powerful driving energy to bring the car to a sudden stop safely and reliably. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a safety protection body for automobiles that can provide safety protection for automobiles. [Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a system in which a vehicle collides with a bottom surface installed on a road surface and a front surface having a height at which a vehicle bumper or the like collides. A roughly triangular prism-shaped protective body made of synthetic resin foam is formed of a back surface that rotates and becomes a ground plane, and a heavy object that serves as a rotational fulcrum is placed at the corner where the bottom surface and the back surface of the protective body connect. is buried, and when a car collides with the front of the protective body, it rotates around the corner where the bottom surface and the back surface connect as a fulcrum, the back surface touches the ground, and it crawls under the car, causing the car to suddenly stop. It is characterized by what it did. [Function] The protection body of the present invention has the above-described configuration, so that when a car collides with the protection body, the protection body rotates, the front side turns to the back side, the back side becomes the bottom surface, and the bottom surface faces upward. It crawls under the car and deforms while absorbing or dispersing kinetic energy.
The back surface, which is now the bottom surface, is in close contact with the road surface and can slip to bring the car to a sudden stop. [Embodiments] Specific embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the accompanying drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the protective body of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a sectional view thereof, and Fig. 3 is a front view. 1b and a back surface 1c form a substantially triangular prism-shaped protector 1. More specifically, the bottom surface 1a and the back surface 1c have an arch-shaped depression 1b, and a slightly protruding edge frame 1e is formed around the periphery of the depression 1b. Further, the front surface 1b is slightly bulged toward the front as shown in the figure. The height of the protective body is set to be slightly higher than the bumper of an automobile. For example, the bumper height of a general passenger car is approximately 400 mm, and that of a large truck is approximately 650 mm.
mm, so the height of the protective body of the present invention is 700-800 mm.
mm. Note that the length dimension is arbitrary, but is set to 1 m, for example. In addition, a transverse hole 2 is formed in the corner where the bottom surface 1a and the back surface 1c of this protective body 1 are connected, and a heavy material 3 such as iron sand or silica sand is filled in the transverse hole, and both ends are sealed. The lever portion is configured to serve as a fulcrum during rotation. In addition, a retroreflective sheet 4 for lane direction indication, diversion, etc. is attached to the front surface 1b, if necessary. In this embodiment, the cavity 5 is formed approximately in the center of the protective body 1 in order to save materials, but this is not necessarily necessary. As mentioned above, the material for the protective body of the present invention is a semi-rigid foam material such as polyurethane, which can withstand the impact of a car collision as described later, and is durable when crawling under a car. This is because the material needs to have elasticity to the extent that it can be compressed slightly to bring the car to a sudden stop, and is not necessarily limited to polyurethane, but for example, a material having the following physical properties is used.

As described above, according to the present invention, when a car collides, it rotates and sinks into the front of the car body, thereby safely and reliably bringing the car to a sudden stop.
