重ねたところ、汚れ垢は、主として艶出し剤中のシリコ
ーンオイルおよびシリコーンレジンに起因するので、先
づ、これを少くするかもしくは使用しないことに着眼し
、次いで、このシリコーンオイルおよびシリコーンレジ
ンを少くすることによる作業性(とくに拭きとり性)の
低下は、特定のパウダーを使用することにより容易に補
われることを知見した。本発明はこの知見に基づくもの
であり、ワックスおよび/またはワックス状物質からな
る艶出し剤中にシリコーンパウダーを含有することを特

することができ、これらに起因する汚れ垢の付着を完全
に防止することができる。すなわち、水洗することによ
り容易に除去できる水性の汚れは付着しても、水洗によ
り除去されにくい油性の汚れ垢の付着はない。なお、こ
のシリコーンパウダーに対し、予じめジメチルシリコー
ンオイル等のシリコーンオイルを少量(例えば5〜40
%程度)含浸したものを使用すれば、艶出し剤のすべり
性は良くなり、作業性はより一層改善される。この場合
、少量のシリコーンオイルは、シリコーンパウダーとと
もに拭キとりの際除去されるので粕付着の原因となるこ
