Today, in order to improve the efficiency of automobile cargo transportation,
Articulated trailer trucks, in other words, articulated trailer trucks, have been put into practical use and can transport a large amount of cargo at once by connecting multiple (usually two) freight vehicles to the front and back. For example, specific examples include a full-trailer-coupled vehicle in which a normal truck is used as a tractor and a full trailer is coupled to the back, and a double-trailer-coupled vehicle in which a semi-trailer is coupled to the back of a special tractor, and a full trailer is further coupled to the rear of the semi-trailer. can be mentioned.

By the way, in such an articulated trailer truck, the loading platform on the tractor side and the loading platform on the trailer side are generally separated, and the rear parts of each are separated.
For example, cargo handling is carried out while the truck is at a cargo loading area such as a platform, but if two cargo vehicles are placed side by side, it will require twice as much space as a normal truck. This was an impediment to the efficient use of resources.

On the other hand, by attaching such connected vehicles in a straight line to a platform, etc., and by spanning a gangplank between the front and rear loading platforms to form a cargo handling passage, the front side can be easily accessed without separating the connected vehicles. It is also conceivable to load cargo sequentially from the loading platform to the rear loading platform. In fact, the present applicant has applied for a device using such a spanning board as Utility Model Application No. 58-63832 and Utility Model Application No. 59-167708.

When viewed as a whole, such a gangboard 34 has the following characteristics:
Although it has a substantially rectangular shape with a width that can cover the space between the connecting portion of the loading platform 10 and 14, the tip edge of its free end, in other words, the tip of the loading platform 10 when it is tilted from an upright position to a horizontal position. Connection side end (rear end)
The side parts corresponding to are formed in a chevron shape with the center as the apex and sloped on both sides.
As shown in FIG. 5, even when the loading platforms 10 and 14 are bent to some extent, the portion of the free end of the spanning plate 34 near the corner rests on the floor at the rear end of the loading platform 10. It is now possible to avoid rising prices. That is, the gangplank 34
If it had a perfect rectangular shape, the part near the corner on the tip side would interfere with the connecting side end of the other party's loading platform 10, but the tip edge would be cut off diagonally, so to speak. Therefore, such interference is avoided.

As is clear from FIG. 3, the spanning plate 34 is integrally provided with an arm portion 50 that extends in the opposite direction from the free end side across the shaft 36 that is the center of rotation. A wire 52 is connected to the free end of the arm portion 50. This wire 52
is changed in direction by a guide roller 54 and extends toward the rear side of the loading platform 14, and its end is connected to a winding type winch 56, as is clear from FIG. Therefore, by turning the handle 58 of this winch 56, the spanning plate 34 can be rotated and raised from the horizontal position to the upright position shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 3 via the wire 52. The winch 56, wire 52, etc. constitute a driving means for driving the spanning board 34 to the upright position, which is the storage position.

A particularly significant feature of the bridging device of this embodiment is that it can be used even when the loading platforms 10 and 14 are bent as shown in FIG. That is, in such a state, the amount of pullout of each stay 28 is
By varying the spacing in the width direction between the span boards 34, it is possible to bridge the bridge without any problems even when the bridge is bent.Furthermore, since the leading edge of the spanning board 34 is cut off in a chevron shape, it will not bend easily. Despite the curved state, it is possible to form a passage for cargo handling. Therefore, it is no longer essential to make the loading platform 10 and 14 in a straight line, for example, when mounting the platform from the rear, etc., and therefore the operator does not require a high level of skill, and does not require extra skill when stopping. It can save you a lot of time. Moreover, since the support stay 28 is of a pull-out type and the bridging plate 34 is of a flip-up type, setup operations for bridging and storage operations can be performed in a single time.

Further, since a ball caster 44 having free directionality is provided on the upper surface of the spanning board 34, it is easy to change the direction of pallets, etc. that are moved between the loading platforms 10 and 14, and the guides on both sides can be easily changed. Due to the rails 70, there is no fear of falling from the spanning board 34, and moreover, the guide rails 70
Since the space between them is narrowed as described above, it is possible to move them smoothly to the loading platform 10 or 14.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG.
By providing guide bars 80 at the lower portions of both side walls at the connection side ends of 0 and 14, the guide rails 70 on both sides and both side walls of each loading platform 10 and 14 are smoothly connected. It may also be possible to guide the sides of the pallet being moved via the spanning plate 34 to the loading platform 10 or 14. In that case, for example, as shown in FIG. 13, one end of the guide bar 80 is rotatably attached to the side wall of the loading platform 14 or the like by a shaft 82, and when handling cargo, the guide bar 80 is attached to the inside by a fitting pin 84. While holding it in an inclined position, when not in use, it can be rotated to a storage position flush with the side wall of the loading platform, and the pin hole 86
It can be held in that position by dropping the fitting pin 84 into it.
