Generally, in a seat cushion, a concave depression is formed in the seat part, that is, the central part, as appropriate from the peripheral surface, so that the seated person can maintain a stable posture and comfortable sitting position. There is. Conventional seat cushions of this type, which are often found in vehicles, have suspension wires embedded in foamed urethane, which is the cushion material, and the wires and a suspension bag made of a skin coated on the urethane. It was held together with a latch and held in place.

That is, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a urethane material 5 is interposed between the pad portion 2 and the skin made of high-frequency heat welding material, and high-frequency welders 6, 6'
It is welded by applying pressure.
In addition, 7 in the figure shows the pin stretched on the lower surface of the pad part 2.

However, even in this case, if the welded parts 1a, 1b, and 1c between the skin and the pad are used for a long period of time, they will lose resistance to frictional pressure, etc., and the bonded pad surface will peel off from the base material. However, the drawback was that it lacked durability.

In the seat cushion of the present invention, the drawbacks of the conventional cushion described above are eliminated, and
This is intended to improve the elegance of the finished product's external design. That is, the pad is formed with a sheet material that can be welded by high frequency heat embedded in a predetermined location, and a tape that can be welded by high frequency heat is welded to this sheet material through the surface material using a high frequency welder. , which is completed by integrating the pad and the surface material.

Therefore, the pad and surface material are strongly bonded at predetermined locations by welding the sheet material and tape, so even over long-term use, there will be no peeling phenomenon between the two, ensuring durability. Make it strong. In addition, since wires, latches, etc. are not required, it is easy to work and eliminates the defects of the conventional type described above.

If we talk about this configuration and the means of construction,
As shown in FIG. 9, 8 is the above-mentioned outer skin, 10 is a urethane material, and 11 is a back base fabric, and these three materials form the surface layer material. Therefore, the materials for the outer skin, back base fabric, etc.
Although a high-frequency heating welding material is preferred, it is not limited thereto, and the back base fabric 11 may not be used itself. Reference numeral 12 denotes a pad made of urethane foam material, and a sheet member 13 made of a suitable material such as nylon, polyester, or vinyl chloride, which can be welded by high frequency heat, is embedded in a predetermined portion of the pad 12.

14, 14' are high frequency welders, and as can be seen from the figure, the electrode part 14a' of the upper welder 14' is
In the illustrated example, the tip has an enlarged edge, and a tape 9 made of a high-frequency heat welding material (for example, nylon, polyester, vinyl chloride, etc.) is held at the enlarged edge. (FIG. 8) The tape holding portion of this electrode is shaped to suit the shape of the tape. Then, as shown in FIG.
By applying pressure to the electrode, the sheet material 13 and the tape 9 are welded at a predetermined location, as shown in FIG. 9, so that the pad 12 and the surface material side are firmly adhered. It is something.

At this time, the extra flesh of the tape 9 is attached to the electrode 14.
The embossing on the enlarged edge of a' makes it easier to peel off during finishing. This completed state is shown in FIG. Although not essential to the structure of the present invention, means for welding the two surface materials described above will be explained with reference to FIGS. 11 to 13.

In the figure, numerals 8 and 8' are examples of skins having different patterns, colors, etc. In the example shown, both surface materials are in a polymerized state. In this case, at least the epidermis 8,
8' is preferably made of a material that can be welded by high frequency heating. First, as shown in Fig. 12, two surface layer materials are welded together, and then combined with the pad having the sheet material described above, placed in a high frequency welder, and welded by applying pressure. At this time, it goes without saying that the overlapping portion of the surface layer material is hidden by the tape held on the electrode of the upper welder.
