Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. ステアリング軸を回動自在に軸支したステアリ
    ングコラムと、前記コラムに固着されたデイスタ
    ンスブラケツトと該デイスタンスブラケツトを介
    して前記コラムを車体に固定するコラムブラケツ
    トとを有し、前記ステアリング軸を軸方向に伸縮
    可能かつ回転伝達可能な係合構造とし、かつ前記
    ステアリングコラムを軸方向に伸縮可能な構造と
    し、前記コラムを車体の上下方向に角度調整可能
    としたステアリング装置において、前記デイスタ
    ンスブラケツトに挿通された締付ボルトと前記コ
    ラムとの間に設けられたカーリングプレートと、
    前記コラム側に固着され前記カーリングプレート
    を収容してそのＵ字形曲折部を拘束するカーリン
    グプレート曲折部規制用ガイド部材とを有し、前
    記デイスタンスブラケツトに形成される締付ボル
    ト挿通孔がコラム伸縮用長孔となつており、該長
    孔はハンドル側に開放されており、前記カーリン
    グプレートは、前記コラム伸縮用長孔と同じ長さ
    の締付ボルト挿通長孔を有するとともに衝撃時に
    Ｕ字形曲折部が前記ガイド部材に拘束されつつ塑
    性変形して移動し衝撃エネルギを吸収することを
    特徴とする衝撃吸収ステアリング装置。
