In the conventional recording and reproducing device of the first example with the above configuration, when the device is fixed to a base (not shown) of a system device including the recording and reproducing device, for example, the mounting configured on the base of the device is made through a hole. (Not shown) Even if there is a relative deviation in the position of the hole 24a or the planar orientation, the mounting plate 24 will not be deformed and the recording/reproducing device main body 21 will not be distorted. However, the above structure is originally based on the idea that the mounting plate 24 is deformed to prevent distortion of the recording/reproducing device main body 21. The plate 24 is constructed with low rigidity, and although it achieves its purpose, the low rigidity of the plate 24 prevents it from being mounted, for example, due to falling, severe vibration, etc.
It is often deformed due to shock, etc., and the position of the recording/reproducing device main body 21 is misaligned, or the mounting is not done on the board 2.
4 and the recording and reproducing device main body 21 may damage the recording and reproducing function, and the recording and reproducing device has the disadvantage that the weight of the recording and reproducing device increases because the frame 22 has a predetermined rigidity. had.

In the conventional recording/reproducing apparatus of the second example with the above configuration, contrary to the first example, the recording/reproducing apparatus main body 30 is made of, for example, aluminum die-casting and is constructed to have high rigidity, so that it cannot be easily damaged by falling or severe vibration. , while eliminating the drawbacks that the position of the recording/reproducing device main body 30 may be misaligned even if it encounters a disturbance such as a shock, or that the system formed by the recording/reproducing device main body 30 resonates, When fixing to a base (not shown) of a system device, etc., consisting of a hole 30a (not shown) and a mounting hole (not shown), If the deviation occurs, the base of the device (not shown) and the recording/playback device main body 30 repel each other, causing distortion in the recording/playback device main body 30, causing a deviation in the recording/playback function provided inside, causing its function to become distorted. may be damaged, or the recording/playback device main body 30 may be damaged.
It also has the disadvantage that the weight of the recording/reproducing device increases in order to achieve a predetermined rigidity.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] As described above, in the conventional technology, the fixing structure for fixing the recording/reproducing device to the base of a system device including the recording/reproducing device is configured with a low-rigidity structure. If the recording/playback device is mounted in a fixed position, the position of the recording/playback device may be misaligned when it encounters a disturbance such as a fall, severe vibration, or T# shock, or due to the resonance of the system formed by the fixed structure and the recording/playback device main body 21. The recording and playback function will be damaged.

[Function] According to the above configuration of the present invention, even if a large number of electronic components such as ICs that are easily destroyed by static electricity etc. are incorporated into the recording/reproducing apparatus of the present invention, the recording/reproducing apparatus of the present invention can still be used. Even if it is installed in a system device that has many electronic parts such as ICs that are easily destroyed by static electricity, etc., the carbon fiber mixed and filled in a few percent in the plastic material that forms the frame equipped with the recording and playback function will not work.
This overcomes the weakness of the plastic material, which is originally an insulator and has the property of being easily charged with static electricity, etc., and makes the frame slightly conductive to prevent static electricity and other charges.

Therefore, it plays an effective role in preventing the damage caused by static electricity in electronic components such as ICs that are easily destroyed by static electricity, etc., as mentioned above, and does not attract dirt or dust due to static electricity, so special consideration should be given to the installation location, installation method, and handling. In addition, the carbon fiber that is mixed and filled by a few percent into the plastic material that forms the frame provides rigidity that cannot be achieved with plastic material alone, and also has the role of controlling expansion and contraction due to temperature changes to a predetermined amount. This makes it possible to use plastic frames, which has traditionally been impossible due to lack of rigidity and the negative effects of electrostatic charges, etc., and making frames equipped with this recording and playback function made of plastic makes it easier to reduce the weight of recording and playback devices.

This prevents distortion from occurring in the frame 1 due to elastic displacement in the opposite direction or opposite direction.

2), <When fixing from the bottom direction> The sub-frame 2 and the sub-frame 3, to which the frame 1 is pivoted from both sides, are fixed using a plurality of fixing screws 2b, 3b as described above.
The frame 1 has a structure that is highly rigid in the screw tightening direction and hardly undergoes elastic deformation, but as mentioned above, the frame 1 has some elasticity, and the subframe 2 and the subframe 3 and the screw 9a and the screw 9, the portions connected by the fixing screws 2b can be twisted, and a relative misalignment has occurred on the surface facing the base (not shown) of a system device including a recording/reproducing device, for example. ,3
Even if screws b are tightened individually, the frame 1 is engaged with the part connected to the sub-frame 2 by the screw 9a and the boss 1m formed near the screw hole of the screw 9, and the relative predetermined positioning is maintained. Only a small amount of distortion was observed at the part where the subframe 3 was joined with the screw 9.
Distortion is suppressed in areas where recording and playback element functions are installed.

On the other hand, as mentioned above, the subframe 2, which is connected to the frame 1 by one screw 9a, is refined so that when external stress is applied, a relative conforming action occurs in the circumferential direction around the screw 9a. For example, if there is a relative misalignment on the surface facing the base (j13 not shown) of a system device including a recording/reproducing device, even if the plurality of fixing screws 2b and 3b are tightened individually. , recording and playback element a

Of course, even if the subframe 2 connected to the frame 1 by one screw 9a receives external stress, considering the relative conforming effect that occurs in the circumferential direction around the screw 9a, The need for the other sub-frame 3 to perform the above-mentioned relative conforming effect has diminished; for example, in order to position the sub-frame 3 to the above-mentioned frame 1, the boss 1m formed near the screw hole of the screw 9,
It is possible to arrange the screw 9 at a position away from the screw hole (not shown), or to position it at a plurality of positions by providing a second boss 1n as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. At least one of the pair of sub-frames 2 and 3 placed on both sides of the frame 1 may be firmly connected with the above-mentioned screws, etc. Any structure may be used as long as it has a relative conforming effect that occurs in the circumferential direction (in this embodiment, the subframe 2 performs a relative conforming effect in the circumferential direction centering on the screw 9a). In both cases of fixing from both sides and fixing from the bottom side, the frame 1 equipped with the recording and reproducing element functions is pivotally attached to the sub-frames 2 and 3 in a floating state, so to speak. The occurrence of distortion in the main parts is suppressed.

As mentioned above, frame 1 is equipped with the recording and playback element functions.
are pivotally attached to the subframes 2 and 3 in a so-called floating state, and have a plurality of fixing screws 2a,
3a or a plurality of fixing screws 2b and 3b, it is not essentially in a fixed state, in other words, it is in a floating state. When the frame 1 encounters a disturbance such as an impact, the system formed by the relationship between the subframe 2 and the subframe 3 causes intense resonance or misalignment, but the protrusion 1a of the frame 1 The engagement hole 2c of the sub-frame 2 that is engaged with the required clearance has the role of regulating this vibration to a predetermined amplitude and suppressing severe resonance phenomena, and also prevents positional deviation of the frame 1. The clearance amount is set relative to the surface facing the base (not shown) of a system device including a recording/reproducing device, for example. If the fixing screws 2b and 3b are screwed together, the distortion that occurred locally in the frame 1 and the screws 9a and 9 that connect the sub-frame 2 and sub-frame 3 to the frame l should be corrected. Due to the relative bending action in the circumferential direction around the center, the protrusion 1a of the frame 1 and the engagement hole 2 of the subframe 2
It is sufficient to set the required clearance so that c does not abut.

The relationship between the protrusion 1a of the frame 1 and the engagement hole 2C of the sub-frame 2 described above is suitable when the frame 1 has low rigidity and is subject to large displacements due to external disturbances such as a fall, severe vibration, or impact. Frame 1 has high rigidity, so it can withstand drops or severe vibrations, for example.

In the recording and reproducing device configured as described above, the main body of the recording and reproducing device is constructed with high rigidity, and the mounting member is constructed with low rigidity, so that the mounting member is deformed. Unlike the idea of preventing distortion of the main body of the recording/reproducing device by doing so, subframes 2 and 3 have a basic rigid structure, and the subframes 2 and 3 are used to prevent distortion of the recording/reproducing device. The frame 1 on which the playback element a OB is mounted is pivoted in a so-called floating state, and is designed to suppress the occurrence of distortion in the main part on which the recording and playback element a function is mounted. In other words, the frame 1 l is only equipped with the elemental functions of recording and playback, and does not have any involvement in its basic rigidity. It is quite simple, may be flexible, and is easy to carry. In order to respond to the need for lighter weight recording and reproducing devices installed in word processors, laptop computers, etc., which have become more common these days,
For example, it is possible to form it from aluminum die-casting, but it is preferable to form it from a lightweight material such as plastic material.

As mentioned above, the sub-frame 2 and the sub-frame 3 are connected by the screws 9a and 9 toward the substantially planar center of gravity of the frame 1, which is equipped with the above-mentioned recording and reproducing element functions, so that the frame l is Even if the frame l is pivotally mounted and encounters a disturbance such as severe vibration or impact when the recording/reproducing device of this embodiment is attached, the frame l, which is pivotally mounted in a floating state as described above, is able to maintain its balance. It is designed to ensure that it does not adversely affect the elemental functions of recording and playback, and in particular, it guarantees the compatibility of data recorded on the disk as a recording medium, which is the most important characteristic for a recording and playback device. In order to do this, deviations are prevented from occurring in the relative position of the standardized track position of the disk and the head that performs recording and reproduction.

By the way, in order to guarantee data compatibility, recording and reproducing devices standardize and define the recording and reproducing position in the radial direction with respect to the disk as a recording medium (hereinafter, this standardized recording and reproducing position is referred to as a track position). Therefore, the relative position of the track position and the recording/reproducing head must be adjusted to a predetermined positional relationship.

Incidentally, two screws 10 for fixing the main shaft motor 4 to the frame 1 are arranged approximately near the center of the main shaft motor 4 in view of the positional relationship between the main shaft motor 4 and the head 5, as shown in FIG. The frame is made of plastic material and has a temperature expansion coefficient of α1, and the frame is made of iron material and has a temperature expansion coefficient of α2.
The main shaft motor 40 has a base 4a having a thermal expansion coefficient of It is configured to expand and contract in the direction of the head 5 with the position as a base point.

In order to stably fix the main shaft motor 4 to the frame 1, it is desirable to use a plurality of screws 10 and arrange them on the outer circumferential side of the base 4a. The bases 4a of the bases 4a have different coefficients of thermal expansion, and if a temperature change occurs in their combined state, the expansion/contraction point at which the frame 1 expands/contracts in the direction of the head 5 becomes unclear, or both Due to the different amounts of expansion and contraction, the frame 1 or the base 4a of the main shaft motor 4 may be deformed, such as warping, and the relative position of the main shaft motor 4 and the head 5 may be misaligned.

Therefore, in this embodiment, even if the frame 1 or the base 4a of the spindle motor 40 expands and contracts differently, the expansion and contraction stress is kept to a minimum, and the expansion and contraction base point of the frame l is made clear, thereby stabilizing the spindle motor 4 to the frame 1. In order to fix the screws 10, two screws 10 are placed near the center of the spindle motor 4 in view of the positional relationship between the spindle motor 4 and the blade 5. The base 4a of the frame 1 has a slightly protruding surface so that the base 4a of the main shaft motor 4 comes into positive contact with the base 4a of the main shaft motor 4.

The off-track due to the temperature change will be explained from another perspective.

In FIG. 1, a frame 1 made of plastic material and equipped with recording and reproducing element functions is forced to have a complicated shape, especially in the vicinity of the step motor 7 and carriage 6, and in plastic molding, the gate position and shape etc. Even if we do our best to solve this problem, the flow of plastic will become complicated.

- As a means of numerically controlling the temperature expansion coefficient and rigidity of plastic molded products, a pure plastic material is filled with a few percent of glass, navy blue, etc., and molded, taking advantage of the characteristics of glass fibers in terms of the orientation direction of the glass fibers. However, in the case of plastic molding of complex shapes, as mentioned above, even if you make the best possible adjustments to the gate position, shape, etc., the muddy flow of plastic will result in double PII, for example, glass mold! When molding a plastic material filled with several percent of fibers, etc., the length of the glass fibers in the first direction becomes completely irregular, making it difficult to control the length by taking advantage of the characteristics of glass fibers.

If the above-mentioned contents are applied to the frame 1 made of the plastic material described above as shown in FIG. Even if the material is molded, the orientation direction of the glass fibers will be completely irregular, making it difficult to control by taking advantage of the characteristics of glass MK4. From a microscopic perspective when a change is encountered, it is difficult to control expansion and contraction similar to the initial shape. As shown in FIG.
a and the pinion 7a are substantially perpendicular to each other), but if you look at it from a microscopic perspective when a temperature change occurs, the initial shape does not allow for similar expansion and contraction. If there is a slight change in the inclination in the moving direction of the step motor 7, the amount of inclination directly becomes the amount of off-track, and the off-track caused by the expansion and contraction of the frame 1 due to the above-mentioned (A book α1) and the off-track due to the inclination of the step motor 7. Tracks will be added.

As described above, when the recording/reproducing device encounters a temperature change, the difference in temperature expansion coefficient depending on the location of the frame 1 made of plastic material is reduced, and the expansion/contraction control is performed in a manner similar to the initial shape, thereby minimizing the amount of off-track. We have explained some of the measures to be taken, but next (2) we will explain the features of the frame 1 made of the plastic material described above from another perspective.

A) Plastic materials are originally insulators and also have the property of being easily charged with static electricity, but as mentioned above, the frame 1 made of plastic material in this example is filled with a mixture of carbon fibers. It is made of plastic material, has some conductivity, and is not charged with static electricity.

On the other hand, regarding the measures to prevent static electricity in the frame 1, the plastic material is filled with a mixture of carbon m, *, which makes it slightly conductive and achieves the purpose. In the frame 1 made of plastic material, the plastic material is filled with a few percent of glass fiber and a few percent of carbon fiber, but for the above purpose, only a few percent of carbon fiber is filled to achieve the required rigidity. It is also possible to take measures to prevent static electricity charging, but when filling only carbon fibers, it is preferable to increase the filling amount of carbon fibers in consideration of the above-mentioned rigidity.

B) As mentioned above, the disk 40 cited in this embodiment has a base material made of polyethylene phthalate, and has a humidity expansion coefficient of (0 to 15)*10-8/%R in addition to the temperature expansion coefficient.
H, and in order to minimize the amount of off-track due to humidity changes, similar to the off-track due to temperature changes described above in Fig. 9, the humidity expansion coefficient control of frame 1 is the most important point. Although this is obvious, it is difficult to control this with a conventional frame made of metal such as aluminum die-casting because it does not expand or contract due to changes in humidity.

Although detailed illustrations and explanations are omitted, in addition to the off-track that occurs when the frame 1 expands and contracts in the radial direction of the recording medium, in the carriage seek structure constituted by a combination of a lead screw and a lead bin, the carriage 2 shown in FIG.
If the parallelism of the lead screw 27a, which is arranged parallel to the moving direction of the lead screw 27a, is out of alignment, the contact position between the lead portion of the lead screw 27a and the lead bin 26a will be out of alignment, and off-track will be added depending on the lead angle. According to the structure of the frame 1 described above based on FIG. 9, when the recording/reproducing apparatus encounters a temperature change, the difference in temperature expansion coefficient depending on the location of the frame 1 formed of a plastic material is reduced, and the initial shape is changed. It is possible to perform similar expansion and contraction control from the position of the carriage 26, and the parallelism of the lead screw 27a arranged parallel to the moving direction of the carriage 26 will not be distorted, making it easy to control the amount of off-track to a minimum.

The seek structure of the carriage in this application example shown in Fig. 8 is composed of a combination of a lead screw and a lead bin, but there is another application example, which is not shown and explained, but is a well-known technique using a step motor. A structure is known in which a steel belt is wound around a capstan in an α-shape, and both ends of the belt are connected to a carriage. In this structure, a step motor is also used to adjust the relative position of the disk track position and the head. In the configuration in which the rotation is performed, all the contents described above based on FIGS. 2 to 5 and FIGS. 6 and 7 can be similarly applied, as well as regarding the control to minimize the amount of off-track. The same applies.

Incidentally, system devices including modern recording and reproducing devices are becoming smaller and smaller, and their internal configurations are becoming more densely populated with electronic equipment, resulting in the generation of various types of noise such as power supply noise and radiation noise. Therefore, what should be noted is how to cut these various noises. , 3b, and fix it by tightening screws from the base (not shown) side of a system device, such as a system device including a recording/reproducing device, because it has some elasticity. A case 8 is arranged so as to be in pressure contact with the frame 2 and the sub-frame 3. If the case 8 is made of a light metal with excellent conductivity such as aluminum or a metal with excellent magnetic shielding property, a suitable type of noise reduction can be achieved. Furthermore, since the case 8 has a structure in which the case 8 comes into pressure contact with the sub-frames 2 and 3 due to some elasticity when screwed and fixed, the sub-frames 2 and 3 are made of conductive material.

To explain the shield protection effect in more detail, as described above with reference to FIG. It is made of a plate-like member, which is bent from both sides to form a substantially rectangular tube shape, and has a plurality of convex portions 8b having larger apexes at each end where both ends coincide.
and a convex portion 8c, and the concave portion formed between the convex portions 8b and the convex portion 8c are formed so as to coincide with each other, so that the so-called fastener connection is engaged with both from the thickness direction and does not separate from the surface direction. There are no gaps or the like in the fastener connection part, and it provides a uniform and strong shielding effect with no directionality against noise sources.

Therefore, when the frame 1 made of plastic material and the case 8 having the above structure are combined as in this embodiment, almost the entire outer periphery of the frame 1 made of plastic material, which is inherently weak against noise, is covered. By providing protection, a uniform and strong shielding effect with no directionality is achieved against the noise source, enabling stable recording and reproduction unaffected by noise.

Incidentally, the case 8 of this embodiment is made of two plate-like members, and is formed by bending both sides thereof into a substantially rectangular tube shape, and the above-mentioned so-called fastener is installed at the portion where both ends coincide. There is no gap or the like in the fastener joint portion, which not only provides a strong shielding effect against noise sources, but also provides a recording and reproducing device that has a neat external shape, is easy to handle, and is aesthetically pleasing.

As shown in the figure and described above, it is made of a single plate-shaped member, which is bent from both sides into a substantially rectangular tube shape, and the portion where both ends meet at the bottom of the recording/reproducing device is connected by the so-called fastener described above. However, in view of the purpose of shield protection described above, the formation means is not limited to this method; for example, it may be formed by joining on both sides or the top,

Even if a large number of parts are incorporated, or even if the recording/reproducing device of the present invention is incorporated into a system device etc. in which many electronic components such as ICs that are easily destroyed by static electricity etc. are incorporated in the surrounding area, the frame equipped with the recording/reproducing function can be used. Carbon fiber, which is mixed and filled by a few percent into the plastic material used to form the frame, overcomes the weakness of plastic materials, which are inherently insulating and tend to be easily charged with static electricity, and gives the frame some conductivity. The structure plays an effective role in preventing electrostatic damage to electronic components such as ICs that are easily destroyed by static electricity, etc., as described above, and does not attract dust or dirt due to static electricity, making it easy to install It eliminates the need for special arrangement J1 in terms of installation method and handling, and furthermore, carbon u & fiber, which is mixed and filled by a few percent into the plastic material forming the frame, essentially has rigidity and temperature change that cannot be constructed with plastic material alone. It also plays the role of controlling the expansion and contraction to a predetermined amount, making it possible to use plastic frames, which had previously been impossible due to lack of rigidity and negative effects from static electricity and other charges.
