Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently inspect the squareness of the end edge surface against the outside peripheral surface of a circular arc-like product, and also, to execute the inspection with high reliability by detecting an output difference at the time when a pair of sensors are brought into contact with the circular arc-like product or allowed to approach said product. CONSTITUTION:In the case of inspecting an arc segment 1, when the segment 1 is placed on parallel rollers 11 and a pair of rolls 11, 11 are brought to one to two rotations to the inside, respectively, the axis center of the segment 1 can be made parallel to the axes of the rollers 11, 11, and centering is completed. Subsequently, a pressure member 14 is allowed to descend and the segment 1 is fixed onto the rolls 11, 11. Next, when a supporting member 12 is moved to the segment 1 side and detecting elements 13a, 13a of a pair of sensors 13, 13 are allowed to abut on the end edge surface 1b of the segment or allowed to approach said surface, an output difference of the sensors 13, 13 can be known, and by comparing it with an allowable output difference determined in advance, the segment 1 can be inspected or selected.

Conventionally, an arc segment l as shown in FIG. 3 is formed by powder metallurgy, subjected to sintering treatment, and polished on its inner and outer circumferential surfaces.
Inspect the perpendicularity of the edge surface 1b with respect to the edge surface 1b. As an inspection apparatus in this case, there is one having a configuration as shown in FIG. 4, for example. In FIG. 4, reference numeral 2 denotes a V block, which has a V-shaped inclined surface 3 on its upper surface, and an arc segment 1 is placed on this inclined surface 3. (2) A support member 4.5 is erected at one end of the block 2 to support the reference gauge 6 and the dial gauge 7 on substantially the same horizontal plane.

The procedure for inspecting the arc segment 1 shown in FIG. 3 using the above inspection apparatus will be described. First, the tip of the reference stopper 6 and the tip of the dial gauge 7 are adjusted to zero using a master (not shown), and then the arc segment 1 is placed on the inclined surface 3 of the V block 2. Then, by sliding the arc segment 1 in the direction of the arrow while pressing it from above and bringing the edge surface Ib of the arc segment 1 into contact with the reference stopper 6, the reading on the dial gauge 7 indicates that the arc segment 1 is Outer peripheral surface 1a
Inspect the perpendicularity of the edge surface 1b with respect to the edge surface 1b. In this case, if a permissible reading range of the dial gauge 7 is determined and, for example, the scale band within the permissible range is colored, the work of sorting out good products from defective products becomes extremely easy.

[ill the invention tries to solve! [Problem] In the above inspection device, it is necessary to accurately match the outer circumferential surface 1a of the arc segment 1 and the inclined surface 3 of the V block 2. If the two do not match accurately, the test results will be inaccurate. . In this case, the so-called seating position on the inclined surface 3 differs depending on the shape and size of the arc segment 1. In other words, in the case of an arc segment 1 in which the radius of curvature of the outer peripheral surface 1a is small as shown in FIG. Obtainable. However, in the case of arc segment l as shown in FIG.

The radius of curvature of the outer peripheral surface 1a is large, and the central angle θ of the inclined surface 3
, is large, making it uncomfortable to sit, difficult to center, and unstable. In order to match the outer peripheral surface 1a and the inclined surface 3, even if the arc segment 1 is pressed from above or vibrated, it cannot be easily corrected due to the influence of the frictional force between the two. Therefore, there are problems in that the reliability of the test results is low and there are large individual differences between workers. Furthermore, even when the axial length of the arc segment 1 is small, the same problem as above occurs because the seat is uncomfortable.

With the above configuration, when inspecting the arc segment 1, the arc segment 1 is placed on the parallel roller 11 with the pressing member 14 pulled upward, and the pair of parallel rollers 11, 11 are moved inwardly. After one or two rotations, the axis of the five arc segments 1 can be made parallel to the axes of the parallel rollers 11, 11, completing the so-called necessary operation. That is, when the axis of the arc segment l is non-parallel to the axis of the parallel roller 11, the outer peripheral surface 1a of the arc segment 1
Since only a portion of the arc segment 1 is in contact with the parallel roller 11, the inward rotation of the parallel rollers 11, 11 generates a force couple that rotates the arc segment 1 in the plane. Therefore, when the arc segment l-1 rotates in a plane and the outer circumferential surface 1a comes into line contact with the outer circumferential surface of the parallel roller 11, the above-mentioned couple disappears, and the parallel rollers 11, 1
The rotating forces due to the frictional forces of 1 balance each other and complete centering. After the above centering is completed, the parallel rollers 11, I
The rotation of I is stopped, the pressing member 14 is lowered, and the arc segment I is fixed on the parallel roller 11°11. Next, move the support member 12 to the arc segment 1 side,
By bringing the pair of sensors 13a and 13a into contact with or close to the edge surface 1b of the arc segment l, the output difference between the sensors 13 and 13 can be known, and the predetermined allowable output difference can be determined. The arc segment 1 can be inspected or sorted by comparison with the above.

The test is carried out according to the procedure described with reference to FIG. After a further rotation of 90° in the direction of the arrow, the centering device 10 reaches the ejection station 24. In this case, if the test result at the test station 23 is good, the arc segment l is removed by the ejection device 2, for example, a vertical movement ejection device (not shown) provided between the parallel rollers 11 and 11, which is operated by a signal from the storage device. It is discharged into the discharge chute 24a. On the other hand, when the test result is negative, the ejecting device at the ejecting station 24 does not operate, and when the index table 21 further rotates 90 degrees and the centering device 10 reaches the ejecting station 25, the same procedure as described above is performed. The arc segment 1 is discharged as a defective product to the discharge chute 25a. A 90' rotation of the index table 21 then causes the centering device IO to reach the supply station 22 and repeat the above operation. Although the description has been omitted, at each station,
Each time the index table 21 rotates by 90 degrees, the respective operations proceed simultaneously.

In the above embodiment, an electric micrometer is used as a sensor, but other contacts,
The effect is the same even if a proximity sensor is used. Also, known means can be used as the constituent members and constituent devices of each station. Further, the rotation angle of the index table can be appropriately selected in accordance with the number and position of each station to be installed. Note that the arc-shaped products to be inspected are not limited to arc segment permanent magnets, and can of course be expanded to other similar shapes.

(2) A plurality of centering devices each having a pair of parallel rollers with their axes in a horizontal plane, each rotatably formed inside, are placed on the rotatably formed index table at regular intervals, and the axis is from the center of the index table. A supply station is arranged approximately radially and is formed near the outer periphery of the index table so that one arcuate product can be placed on the centering device; An inspection station is provided with a pair of sensors and a pressing member formed above the centering device so as to be movable up and down, and a discharge station is formed to be able to eject the arc-shaped product on the centering device. An inspection device for an arc-shaped product, characterized in that the perpendicularity of an edge surface to an outer circumferential surface is inspected based on the difference in output when a sensor is brought into contact with or close to the arc-shaped product.
