極とが形成されている抵抗基板と、上記第１の電
極にはんだ付けされて上記抵抗基板から突出する
第１の端子と、上記第２の電極にはんだ付けされ
て上記抵抗基板から突出する第２の端子と、上記
抵抗体上を摺動し上記第２の端子に導通されてい
る摺動子と、該摺動子を固定して回動自在な摺動
子受とを備え、上記第１の端子と上記第２の端子
との間に高電圧が印加される高圧用可変抵抗器に
おいて、上記第１の電極のうち上記抵抗体に覆わ
れている下地電極部から該抵抗体の側縁に沿つて
擬似電極部を延出形成し、かつ、該擬似電極部と
上記摺動子との距離が上記下地電極部と摺動子と
の距離よりも常に小さくなるように該擬似電極部
と上記抵抗体との間隔を規定したことを特徴とす
