There is. In this case, horizontal parts 4a, 5 such as an outer rail device (not shown) of a curved escalator or each inner rail 4, 5, 6, 7 of a straight escalator shown in FIG.
If there is no inclined portion at the ends of a, 6a, and 7a, that is, in front of the reversing portion 2b, there will be no problem even if the inner chain gear 10b moves by the dimension (W), as shown in FIG. 4, for example. do not have.

In the case of a rail having inclined portions 4b, 6b, and 7b at the ends of the rail 7a, for example, if the inner chain gear 10b moves by a distance (W), a problem occurs as shown in FIG. 5. That is, there are drawbacks such as the rollers floating off the rails and becoming unstable, or the rollers colliding with the rails instead of moving smoothly, causing vibrations, noise, and equipment damage.

This invention was made for the purpose of improving such drawbacks, and the end of the inner rail device on the tension wheel device side is separated at the horizontal portion to form a movable inclined rail device, and the inclined rail device and the tension wheel device are made movable. The present invention proposes a curved escalator in which the relative positional relationship between the inclined rail device and the inner chain gear is fixed by connecting the device with a bracket, thereby making it possible to always stabilize the guidance of the steps.

6 and 7 show an embodiment of the present invention, and the same reference numerals as in the conventional curved escalator described above indicate the same or corresponding parts. Reference numerals 11 denote horizontal portions 4a and 6 of the outward inner drive rail 4, the return inner drive rail 6, and the return inner drive presser rail 7;
a, 7a and the inner chain gear 10b, and is formed to be horizontally movable along the arc shape of the conveyance path 2; 11a is the horizontal portion 4a,
The horizontal part 11b of the inclined rail device 11 connected to the ends of 6a and 7a via the recessed joint part 12 is continuous with the end of this horizontal part 11a, and its tip is inclined toward the axis of the inner chain gear 10b. Inclined rail device 11
The inclined portion 13 is a bracket that connects the inclined rail device 11 and the frame 14 of the inner chain gear 10b and fixes the relative positional relationship between the inclined rail device 11 and the inner chain gear 10b.

Therefore, the relationship between the lower reversing portion 2c of the conveyance path 2 and the rails 4, 6, 7 immediately before the lower reversing portion 2c and the inner step chain 8b is always constant, and problems unlike the conventional ones do not occur.

As explained above, the present invention includes separating the end of the inner rail device on the tension wheel device side at the horizontal portion to form a horizontally movable inclined rail device, and connecting the inclined rail device and the tension wheel device with a bracket. Since the relative positional relationship between the inclined rail device and the inner chain gear is fixed, the rollers do not float off the rail and become unstable, or the rollers do not transfer smoothly to the rail and collide. This has the effect of constantly stabilizing the guidance.
