Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a quarter glass antenna having a small area by receiving radio waves by means of a loop-like slit between a conductive film and the body of the automobile provided on the surface of window glass. CONSTITUTION:This window glass antenna is constituted of a conductive film 2 which is provided on the surface of the quarter glass of an automobile and has plural holes 4a-4e in the film 2 and a feeder through which electricity is fed to the film 2. The conductor film 2 is formed so that a loop-like slit 3 can be formed between the film 2 and body 6 of the automobile. Received signals are fetched from both sides of the loop-like slit 3 between the conductive film 2 on the surface of the window glass and the body of the automobile. Since radio waves are received by means of the loop-like slit 3 in such way, influences are seldom received from the automobile body which is a conductor and the radio waves are received in an excellent state.

The windowpane antenna for a self-help vehicle of the present invention configured as described above is provided with a conductor and a membrane (21) provided on the surface of the quarter glass (21) on both sides of the loop-shaped slit between the vehicle body (6). Since radio waves are received as a potential difference and the received signal is guided to the receiver by the coaxial line 51, good reception is possible without being affected by the car body (6) which is a conductor. The outside scenery can be seen through the holes provided in Figure 8. Figure 8 is a front view of a quarter glass showing another embodiment of this invention. be. In this embodiment, the width of the loop-shaped slit between the conductive film and the body is made wider at the upper part than at the coaxial line +51.
