Occupants who wear seatbelts have a wide variety of physiques, so for safety reasons, it is necessary to be able to adjust the length of the webbing as well as the attachment position of the anchor plate that supports the webbing (especially the anchor plate for shoulder webbing). is more preferable. This is because if the shoulder webbing anchor plate is positioned too high, the webbing will pass through the occupant's face or neck, and if it is positioned too low, it will leave the shoulders and pass through the arms, making it difficult to effectively support the occupant in an emergency. This is because there is a risk that protection may not be possible.

In view of this problem, various adjustable anchor attachment devices have been proposed. Many of them are
Attach the latch member integrally with the anchor plate,
Either the anchor plate is moved by pushing or pulling and the latch member is engaged with the optimal mounting hole, or the latch member is movably mounted on the slide member to which the anchor plate is attached and the slide member is guided. The position of the anchor plate is adjusted by engaging the latch member with an optimal mounting hole provided in the guide member. The latch member is then urged into the engaged position by spring means to maintain the anchor plate in its installed position. However, with this type of attachment device, when an impact force acts in a direction along the direction of movement of the latch member, such as in the case of a side collision of a vehicle, the latch member resists the biasing force of the spring means due to its own inertia force. There is a risk that it will move against the resistance and come off from the mounting hole. When such a situation occurs, the mounting position of the anchor plate moves, and as mentioned above, there is a possibility that the occupant may not be effectively protected.

Taking these circumstances into consideration, the present applicant has previously proposed a method of moving the latch member via a screw in the latter case. Although this achieved the intended purpose to some extent, it was necessary to reduce the lead angle of the screw in order to more reliably prevent the latch member from moving. In some cases, it is necessary to reduce the amount of rotation of the screw, and for this reason, it has become necessary to satisfy the contradictory demands of increasing the lead angle of the screw or requiring a screw with a large diameter.

The present invention has been made against this background, and the latch member does not move even if an impact force is applied along the direction of movement of the latch member, so that the anchor plate attachment device is reliably maintained. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a more compact anchor attachment device with good operability.

The release shaft 15 is rotatably supported around a support shaft 23 fixed to the adjustment anchor 13. The large diameter portion 34 has a mounting hole 36 for mounting a latch spring 35, which will be described later.
A plurality of protrusions 38 are formed to engage with a cap 37 fitted into the large diameter portion to prevent slippage. A knob 39 is formed on the cap 37 so that it can be easily operated with a finger or the like. Further, cam grooves 41 (three in this embodiment) are formed in the small diameter portion 40 of the release shaft 15 to engage with the latch piece 14 and move the latch piece relative to the adjuster base 12. ing. As is clear from FIG. 6 showing the unfolded shape, the cam groove is a groove for guiding the latch piece 14, which is in the engaged position with the adjuster base 12, to a non-engaged position where it does not engage with the adjuster base. a first engagement surface 43 (see b in the same figure) as one engagement means;
It is located on the disengaged position side of the latch piece 14 in the engaged position, and comes into contact with the latch piece when it attempts to move to the disengaged position due to inertia, thereby preventing the latch piece 14 from moving toward the disengaged position. However, if the shoulder webbing 5 passes over the passenger's face and neck, the anchor plate 11
It is necessary to adjust it downward, and conversely, upward if it passes through the passenger's arm. In this case, if the knob 39 of the cap 37 is rotated from the state shown in FIG. 3 (clockwise in FIG. 2), the latch piece 14 engaged with the cam groove 41 of the release shaft 15 integrated with the cap It moves in the direction of arrow C while being guided by the first engaging surface 43 of the cam groove (see FIG. 6b). At this time, the second engagement surface 44
has moved to a position away from the direction of movement of the latch piece 14, so there is no problem in moving the latch piece in the above direction. Therefore, the latch piece 14 is out of engagement with the adjuster base 12. The state at this time is shown in FIG.

The rotation angle of the release shaft 15 is preferably about 90° to 120° considering operability, but in order to guide the latch piece 14 to the disengaged position at the above rotation angle, a cam groove is formed in the release shaft 15. The inclination Θ of the first engaging surface is preferably about 30° to 45°. Note that the inclination of the first engagement surface does not necessarily need to be constant. In some cases,
It is possible to change the shape to an arc shape with a constant curvature, a curved shape with a varying curvature, or a broken line shape with a varying slope midway.

If the adjustment anchor 13 is moved upward or downward while maintaining the state shown in FIG. On the one hand, the release shaft is rotated back to its original position (counterclockwise in Figure 2);
Furthermore, the latch piece 14 moves in the direction approaching the adjuster base 13 and returns to the state shown in FIG. 3. In the above operation, the adjustment anchor 13 is moved while the release shaft 15 is rotated, so a one-touch operation is possible and adjustment operations can be performed quickly.

Subsequently, a method for preventing movement of the latch piece 14 when the latch piece 14 receives a force along the direction of movement of the latch piece 14 due to a side collision of a vehicle or the like will be described. For example, when receiving an impact force to the right in the state shown in FIG. 3, the latch piece 14 moves to the left (in the direction of arrow C) relative to the adjuster base 12 due to its own inertia, that is, toward the disengaged position. trying to move to. However, in the case of the cam groove 41 of this embodiment, the second engagement surface 44 is located on the non-engaged position side when viewed from the latch piece 14 in the engaged position.
is formed (see Fig. 6a), and its movement is prevented by coming into contact with the engaging surface (the cam groove, that is, the release shaft 15 is connected to the retaining ring 4 as described above).
6), the latch piece 14 cannot move in the C direction. Therefore, even if the latch piece 14 in the engagement position with the adjuster base 12 receives a force in the direction of movement, it will not move toward the non-engagement position, and the attachment position of the anchor plate 11 will be reliably maintained. Ru. It is most preferable that the second engaging surface extends in a direction (Y-Y direction) perpendicular to the moving direction (X-X direction) of the latch piece 14, as shown in FIG. However, doing so is not an absolutely necessary condition. That is, if the coefficient of friction between the latch piece 14 and the second engagement surface 44 is μ, then a straight line (a straight line extending with an angle α with respect to the Y-Y direction that satisfies tanα<μ) (see Figure 7), a polygonal surface, a curved or arcuate surface including a curvature such that the inclination α of the tangent at the engagement portion with the latch piece 14 with respect to the Y-Y direction satisfies the above-mentioned conditions. It may be hot. However, in any case, operability will be better if the latch piece is moved by reducing the rotation angle of the release shaft 15.
It is preferable that the inclination Θ of the first engagement surface is larger than the inclination α of the second engagement surface.

Furthermore, the latch piece is not limited to one that moves relative to the adjuster anchor, but may be configured to be integrally attached to the anchor plate via an anchor member, as described in the conventional example. Furthermore, instead of being directly engaged with the release member, it may be connected via some intermediate member, or furthermore, the release member may be operated by some kind of operating means.
