When performing surface treatments such as plating and alumite processing, if there are screw holes, reamed holes, H tolerance holes, etc. (hereinafter simply referred to as holes) that do not require treatment, the holes should be cleaned in advance before the surface treatment. Masking work is required to block it.

In other words, there are a wide variety of holes to be masked, ranging from minute diameters to relatively large diameters, but the above methods cannot flexibly respond to changes in hole diameter, so they have to be prepared in a large number of sizes. Must. Also,
During actual work, it took time to select a plug with dimensions that matched well with the hole diameter, resulting in problems such as reduced efficiency.

The latter rubber plug is very difficult to insert into the hole if the hole diameter corresponds to the large diameter side.

The relationship is approximately L≧3D with respect to the diameter D of . This is because if the slope 6 is made gentler, it can match hole diameters of various sizes, and can also cope better with deep holes, so the upper limit is generally L≧6 to 10.

これで第1図のようなマスキング状態となる。 According to the present invention, when masking each hole of the surface-treated product 1, as shown in FIG. Simply push it in until it comes into close contact with the hole, and the tip 5 will automatically match the hole diameter and protrude to the opposite side of the surface-treated object. As for the blind screw hole 2b, simply cut off the tip 5 to an appropriate length with a cutter, scissors, etc., and similarly push it in until the slope 6 comes into close contact with the hole end 8, and it will automatically match the hole diameter and be closed. Furthermore, since the thin threadless hole 2c has a pointed end 5, it can be pushed in, and by cutting off the unnecessary part with a cutter or the like, the remaining part can be used to close the previous blind hole.
This results in a masking state as shown in FIG.

る。 In terms of work, since the tip is not flat but has a pointed tip 5, it serves as a good insertion guide for the holes 2a and 2c, and is also suitable for use with the one on the right in Figure 1 and the one on the right in Figure 1.
Even minute and deep holes like the one shown in the figure can be easily and reliably masked. Furthermore, the L-shaped holes formed on the top and side surfaces can also be easily masked.

Since it penetrates deeply and then recovers, the contact pressure with the hole edge can be increased, resulting in a higher masking effect. In addition, the hole 7 also functions as an operation hole, and since a rod-shaped object can be inserted into the hole, the elasticity of the rubber prevents it from popping out and allows it to be firmly and deeply inserted into the hole. . Also, if the hole 7 is tapered as shown in the figure, the tip 5 of the other jig can be attached here.
Since the jigs can be inserted and connected one after another, the jigs will not be scattered when masking multiple holes or during storage, making handling easier.

According to the present invention described above, in a jig for insertion into a hole that does not require surface treatment during surface treatment such as plating, the jig is made of rubber and has a substantially flat rear end surface 4 and an opposite side. The female threaded hole 2 is configured in a conical shape with a smooth slope connecting it to the tip 5, and the length from the rear end surface 4 to the tip 5 is at least three times that of the rear end surface 4.
If it is inserted into a, 2b or unthreaded hole 2c and cut with a cutter as appropriate depending on the hole diameter and hole bottom shape, it will stick tightly to the hole opening or thread groove, thus preventing the intrusion of plating liquid, etc. In particular, since the tip 5 is not flat but sharp, it can exert a good guiding effect to the hole, and can steplessly drill deep holes with small diameters from large holes to minute holes with one jig. But it can be easily and reliably masked.

のすぐれた効果が得られる。 In addition, since the hole 7 is formed in the axial direction from the rear end surface 4, it has good retractability, and in order to penetrate deeper and restore the shape than if it were completely faithful, a high contact pressure can be applied to the hole to be masked. In addition, since it can function as an operation hole when inserted into the hole to be masked, it can be inserted sufficiently against the extrusion effect due to the elasticity of the rubber.
Furthermore, excellent effects such as a simple structure and low cost can be obtained.
